System map misinterpreted

In my recent travels I came across this very interesting looking system map.

For about 20 seconds I believed that I had discovered a huge black hole...

...until I realised it most likely would simply be some gas giant (which it indeed turned out to be).
 
It is strange why this GG is completely dark. I think all GGs should emit some glowing light since they all should have internal heat source.

I'm sure that there was another thread with the same issue - long while ago and I cant remember outcome of discussion but, I think we've seen this before.
 
Earlier in the year when I first ran into the neutron star fields I noticed that any system with blackholes and no stars would be rendered this way. But I though the rendering of system maps had changed since then so you can tell the bodies apart. Apparently the silhouette affect can still happen.
