Newcomer / Intro System map

As a new player on "Horizons live" vs legacy, how do you open the right side icons on the Galaxy map? I want to open the systems map with one of the icons to check the destination and station after possibly accepting a mission. I know that you can open the system map from the navigation panel in the cockpit, but only to find the current system map?

I click the symbol that looks like concentric circles. You only get that active if you have data for that system.

Pretty much everything is either click, or click and hold.

If you are using a controller, try moving around with the d-pad. Sometimes it is a little screwy

Highlight and click, using the controls you bound in the galaxy map section, I can use keys touchpad and or some features of the HOTAS.
I have no recollection of what was default.
