System States Bugged?

Hey guys is it just me or are the filters for states in the galaxy map not working properly? im only seeing NONE states.

Is it just me or a wider issue?

Cheers

It's my understanding that the BGS states were reset when 3.3 dropped.

Now whether they're stuck in the 'none' state, I don't know.
I've been trying to push economy and influence in a tiny system, and it hasn't budged.
Though I'm a BGS noob, so I could be doing something wrong.

Background Simulation

Factions can now be in multiple states within each system that they are present
Economic and Security status added
War, Civil War and Election states are now a 7 day conflict, where players engage in activities (such as winning conflict zones in War and Civil War states) and attempt to beat their opponents
Added a new 'Happiness' level for each faction, that is a combination of various states and influence. Happiness also plays into the Expansion state
Civil Liberty state added (part of the Security Status)
Added more information to the status tab in the right hand cockpit panel to help players manage/support factions
Existing Background Simulation states will be reset to 'none' to make way for these new changes.

There seems to have been some changes made which - at the very least - reduce the magnitude of change an individual commander can cause, even in small systems, compared to how it was either in 3.2 or 3.3 Beta.

Whether that's intentional or a bug it might take a while for the new system states to assert themselves, but there does seem to be some movement anyway.

Ah, ok, good to know. Thanks.

I've been playing around in a system with a population of 10,000. So I thought I'd be able to see some movement.
I'll just keep selling my mining motherloads back to them and hope to see a boom at some point. :)

AFAIK: System States ALWAYS get reset when a major patch drops.

no they dont. Where there was no related BGS change they havent, ever. And this is the first such change in years.

but they were reset with this patch.

You should be seeing wars, civil wars and elections as they are breaking out all over the place.
