Engineers Technetium ?

Hi has anyone found a good place for technetium ? I have been to Orrere crashed anaconda site, nothing there unfortunately.

If you're ever out by Maia for thruster engineering, Electra 1 in the Electra system has a good metallic meteorite spawn rate. Technetium even drops from Outcrops. Farm there for an hour or so and fill up.

I've just found 2 awesome planets for it. But it might be a bit out of your way. I'm about 3000ly out in the black at the moment.

You can find some at Algol A 4. It has a 1.3% concentration which is higher than everywhere else I found near Liz Ryder (needed it for one of her G5 upgrades). There's also a permanent USS nearby that contains a wrecked ship with Earth relics (and an NPC Cobra that just hangs out there).

INARA has a great search tool for materials. You can sort planets/moons by the content of mat or by the distance from your position. The only info I'd love to have included there is gravity as I find collectin at 0,3g or less very annoying. At 2g collection becomes a treat - all mats drop instantly and stay in a group, so you stop ove them and collect them through contacts without moving the SRV.

I encountered a shed load of technetium on Trus Madi in Wolf 397. Went out looking for phosphorus for a blueprint and came back with more tech than phos

ARAKAPAJO 2b -> 1.5%

This'd probably be a good spot - When I needed loads (for rapid fire multi's on me Gunship!) I went to COL 359 Sector GL-O D6-8 1A which has 1.6%, but it's a little bit of a trek for the extra 0.1%

I was modding 7 guns and wanted decent rolls on all of them, I needed enough for 100 rolls so I was planning on spending a few days there and felt the trip was worth it, but if you only need a few pick-ups it's probably not.

Thanks CMDR!
This place is a Dave's Hope for Materials to unlock Human Tech Broker!
Memento Mori!

Edit: this place is bugged. Next day not a single item. Doing all known tricks...

NOTHING, not are single item! Looks like there is a limit.

There's a second one in HIP 35755 on 6 C, but that seems unusable unless you're Spiderman. I was in a large ship and couldn't land anyway.

HIP 41181 A 1 A is another one, but I got only one Needle Crystal, don't know if that's fixed or random.

I first saw this material as a requirement for a grade 5 blueprint for Multi-cannons. I looked at it and thought, 'Technetium? That sounds made up for sure.' But I have found that there is a lot of science in Elite Dangerous so I googled it. My jaw just about hit the floor when I found out it was an actual element. Element 42 on the periodic table.

As for obtaining it, I usually go to a material trader (raw).
