I've just got them as I've scavenged for other stuff. Large drilling bases are great for lots of hab points but also net you a ton of other loot that's useful, so you're not too narrow with the search. Anarchies make it a little easier. And I try to keep my anarchy system "sustainable" and don't kill anyone unless I have to. So far, the system I'm in, the owning faction have started increasing again so all good.

I only need one more and I'm done. Got 2 so far in just 3 clearances of the drilling base. And 1 opinion poll (most I saw was 3 in one run).

I run:

  • CMD (alarms and get level 3) - 2 data points
  • Hop over to EXT (tons of assets, plenty of tungsten, plates, weapon components, some chems like superbase and RDX, a good chance of gas) - 1 data point
  • Hop to the HAB - Assets and 1 data point
  • Hop over to STO - tons of assets, 2 data points (but one is always rubbish, not sure why)
  • Hop to PWR - 1 data point and good chance of schematics and gas (and you can finish off with the PR if you like but I've stopped that now to speed it up)
  • back to ship and off you go.

Sweeeeeeet. Coming closer to my own Oden Geiger Access.

First I did 7 covert theft missions but it didn't unlock her so I had to make 4 heists. So it seems you need to make at least 4 heists to unlock her.

It's either 12 missions, of which any can be covert heists or covert thefts, or it's exactly 6 of each. But it's not 6 in total.

I'll be honest, this thing is just irritating me now. Fdev need to make this very clear.

Not counting the stuff previous to having heard of the engie, I'm sitting on 6 Heists and 4 Thefts here (covert, obviously), and no unlock yet. Sigh.

So, 7 heists, 5 thefts, no luck. So the "12 in total" doesn't seem to be the solution for me. Onto my 6th theft now, will see how that goes!

Ah well...

6 Thefts, 7 Heists, relog, quit to desktop, kill launcher, restart game, still no invite.

Guess I'll keep doing random covert stuff and some of them might randomly decide to count...

My personal favorite after launch of EDO was getting an invite, patting myself on the back as I landed at the engineer, and then the station killed me for trespassing.
