Horizons Test Cases for Instant Transfer Impact

I was wondering if ahead of the Guardians Beta, people who have a strong feeling that instant transfer will damage the game can come up with some practical tests which can be tried in Beta?

So something like: Hypothesis, method of testing, resources required, measurement of outcome (I'm probably getting too pseudo-nerdy).

If anyone is mad enough to respond, please can subsequent posters try and avoid the knee-jerk "your idea is a steaming pile of dingos kidneys" responses.

Cheers,

Hypothesis: Griefing.
Method of testing: Equip super-LY AspEx. Fly to Jacques Station, Beagle Point, whatever (any long distance location with a shipyard and pads), Teleport super heavy Federal Corvette. Wait for new explorers to arrive. Kill them, sending the poor sods back to the bubble with nothing but a rebuy screen.

It *will* happen.

Fly there in Mobius or solo. Problem solved. Also how do you know they didn't fly the Federal Corvette there? Or if they put in a 24 hour or even a 3 day delay how would you know they didn't go there before, call the ship and leave and come back (of course this is after it has been in the game for awhile). In simple terms no one will know how long any particular ship was at any station unless the station is new. If been there awhile you could have gone there anytime and called the ship and even if it took a month and you went there 32 days ago it would still be there.

No one will know how long the ship was there unless you told them.

By the way some people have enough money saved to have 2 Federal Corvette let alone 3-4 Pythons (I can affrod to A fit 4 Pythons with a lot of money to spare).

My issue with instant transfer is mostly philosophical.

And as every physicist has said to every philosopher..."you can't test that"

Telling people they need to switch to PvE or solo in order to avoid potential griefers in Open? Really? How is that even remotely an acceptable solution?

lso how do you know they didn't fly the Federal Corvette there?
A fully A-specced combat Corv travelling to BP on a +-12ly jump range... vs an upgraded AspX that can do like 50ly or something and then just teleport the Corv there. You really think people would travel to BP in the corv when they can do the latter? :/

Or if they put in a 24 hour or even a 3 day delay how would you know they didn't go there before, call the ship and leave and come back (of course this is after it has been in the game for awhile). ... No one will know how long the ship was there unless you told them.

I'm sorry, I don't understand the relevance.

And some people don't. What's your point?

I need a loan. A really, really big loan. For an A rated Python. I'll even let you have my Cobra.
