Thargoid Attacks: Where, When and What you can do about it

There are also commanders in Deneb Algedi who don't have the app installed.

From our own operations reports, the following Sepp commanders contributed:

Terrorfirma - 159
TheMightyFozz - 45
Adept Geraden - 60
Ziljan Vega - 167

and several others who didn't file reports.

How are they logging kills?

We are trying to encourage people to use the app because it can track hyperdictions as well as kills and can capture other info

IMO this 1st Chapter was done for us just to get the guardian weapons, improve combat skilss and that s all. Getting feeling that killing TGs is pointless in this chapter if you are good enough and we have some informations about NHSS, almost useless EE and mystic tg progress...

so it is good time to play more CGs, PvP and repair station, see you there ;)

This time, the top 10 users of the LCU plugin alone have destroyed around 3000 Scouts in Deneb Algedi (4220 in total), plus hundreds or thousands from numerous CMDRs that are not tracked. If that doesn't demotivate the Thargoids to continue on this route, nothing will.

I've been ignoring the Thargoids for a while, but I want to catch up. Here's a couple questions.

1) Has anyone compiled information which I can view somewhere which confirms that the Thargoid killing is having any affect?

2) Has any of the stations been attacked so far which have no affiliation to AEGIS (direct or indirect) and have no Guargian Weapons Broker?

1. No solid data, but it seems very much to be that way. Each week since the Eagle Eye data started coming out, one of the systems was more heavily defended. The more heavily defended system has never been attacked, whereas the least defended system usually is. One exception to this was a couple of weeks back, where Thargoids weren't spawning in the systems indicated until Tuesday, only leaving two days to defend the stations. Presumably, not enough Thargoids were killed as both stations fell.

2. Every station since Irandan (which was attacked a couple of months ago) hasn't had AEGIS labs or factions on board, so it seems they are attacking stations indiscriminately now. Some of them may have had a Guardian Tech Broker, but most have not.

F.Y.I. Just noticed the Vanguard (which is still in Ngauna as I write) has updated its flight operations plan. Next destination:

Departing @ 0700 03/05/3304 to Flech

And the Acropolis (currently Trocnades). Next stop:

Departing @ 0700 03/05/3304 to Xihe

p.s. anyone else finding the Aegis megaships mission boards empty lately?

Very interesting! Both 50-70Ly from Sol - looks like another 2 decoy systems - looking forward to this weeks restart!

Spocs 253 was not without its defenders, so it's very disappointing that it was hit. Maybe the Thargoids just pick whichever is least well-defended, or both if there is insufficient support for either?
.
I've checked the following systems today for NHSS and found none:
Gertrud
Quiness
BD+34 1378
Lusonda
Byeru Bese
Oitbi

You cannot fight the narrative so you ll always have at least one attacked.

You cannot fight the narrative so you ll always have at least one attacked.

There were fewer thargoid kills in SPOCS 253 just by looking at the LCU app. But we just cant know for sure the total number of kills in each system. We also dont know how many kills are necessary to successfully defend a system.
Maybe this time we can try to make the defense a bit more even to find out if we can successfully defend both systems.

You cannot fight the narrative so you ll always have at least one attacked.

There is no conclusive proof of this, the attacked stations have always been massively undefended so there is a good chance that not enough Thargoids are killed so the station falls.

Found NHSS TL 3-8 in Argestes.

And claimed my first 40 Scout Kills in that System.

And found a destroyed Megaship.

I'd say it's even the opposite : the systems that were defended the most haven't been attacked. They want to attack systems, and surely they pick the one when they met less resistance. Or both if both were undefended.

Irandan and all the stations attacked since are the systems where the number of scouts kills were the lowest.

Looking at the ls from the jump point, I'm afraid this station will never get repaired. They may as well just dismantle it.
Yea that would be 1 monumental effort, at 403k Ls from the jump point! The time would be far better off spent repairing every other station lol.

So this week, the fighting will be in Argestes and 63 G. Capricorni? I hope cmdrs spread their kills more evenly between those systems. Lets try to save them both!
