Yes they do, and there's a plug in for EDMC that records Non Human Signal Source data when you drop into one as a Thargoid intel gathering exercise, it's available from front page here

Still a long way to go on the user interface but we are a step closer to being able to join the manual and automatic responses together and when done you will be able to have the manual responses partly filled in.

Try going to the third (multiple ship) crash site-HIP 17403 off the top of my head, pick up some UAs then try jumping to a US system. That caused my second hyperdiction (only had two!)

I've not had a hyperdiction since 2.4!

I once had 4-5 in a row in 2.3 after I'd picked up a UA!

Yep I used them both together for quite a while because I used to use ED Discovery to rename my screenshots. Then I wrote an EDMC plugin to do it for me :)

No probs :), though from here on they'll be auto reports & no more manual ones ;).
Oh I've duplicated 2 systems (I couldn't remember what they were beforehand), 1 of them is Col 285 Sector CV-X c1-17 @ 21:00 game time & the other is........ hmm, no matter which column I sort by I can't find the other 1! I've even looked for time differences of 1 minute (from different rounding), the ones with 3min or more are different drops, sometimes I was in & out very quickly, especially if their were no Thargoig ships or escape pods (btw I haven't put my name to all of them).

Oh & someone else has entered this 1 twice Pleiades Sector YP-0 B6-1, probably because of a typo, as that example has YP-zero instead of O.
And 1 of the Aries Dark Region GW-W d1-86 submissions (not me ;)) has the wrong in game date, looks like the day & month is the wrong way around, couldn't have happened before the 2.4 release!

Btw, any idea why the data filtering splits up the dates into 2 different groups?

Re NHSSs at systems with no planets, I thought that at 1st & then I got an NHSS at a planet less system! ;), I can't remember the name of that system but I think it began with an H (e.g HR or HIP), I posted about it in this thread a little way back.

Thanks :), yea I knew about the auto NHSS reporting for EDMC, that's why I was asking about EDMC & EDDisco ;).

Thanks! I'm keeping a note of systems I don't find a NHSS in just in case, but if there's even one it does destroy the theory, so that's that!

I do like ED, and now with EDMC plus plugin it's the bees knees thargoids patella!

I also found NHSS(5) in a HIP ???? shortly after I set off on my journey back to Varati from Maia. I can dig out the accurate name if anyone's interested. There was just one red dwarf with no planets or asteroid belts

I just went to download your latest version, but when I click on the "latest release" link it's still EDMC-USS-Survey_1.0.zip. Are there alternative load instructions?

The latest version doesnt have an official release yet. Still in beta. To install it just replace the load.py file in the EDMC-USS-Survey plugin directory

Back on the scene, now with EDMC and the thargoid-plugin-thingie.

Anyway, found a NHSS in Pleiades Sector BQ-X b1-0 with two Type-9, one Anaconda and Gold / Consumer Technology-Canisters floating around.

I realise it's (probably) a random thing, but at what point do you think we should call it on testing these systems?

I've jumped in and out of Synuefe BG-V b35-0 and Arietis Sector MX-T b3-0 about 10-15 times tonight and no Hyperdiction. I'll do the same with the others on the list, just to give them an equal chance (and maybe get hyperdicted between them too!).

FYI, before I started this I went and got a Probe and honked it so it scanned me, I know that was considered to be a potential trigger event pre 2.4 so I figured it was worth a try.

Edit: just got hyperdicted. Hades Sector Eb-w b2-2 170ly from Merope. I've got screenshots for proof and was running the EDMC plugin. And also reported via the form.

It would be great to get more people using the interdiction detector.

Maybe I should do a standalone version that writes a private comment to EDSM? Then we could persuade canonn and non Canonn alike to use it.

The new version of the USS plugin is nearly ready now. Justa few finishing touches and then I think we should try and get some publicity.

Could there be any conflict using ED-Discovery and ED-MarketConnector both sending data to EDSM simultanously?

Or should I better disable ED-DCs sending funciton while using EDMC with the NHSS plugin?

You should disable sending for one of them. There is an option somewhere in ED Discovery. I only use ED Discovery rarely now.

I'm really pleased to announce that I have completed the new release of USS survey.

As well as automatically logging USS and Hyperdictions it will also allow you to click through to the manual forms with some of the details pre-filled. This makes it a doddle to enter manual details, ever someone as lazy as me will fill in the manual forms if they use the plugin.


You can download the plugin from here

To install, just remove the previously installed directory, the unzip the latest release into your plugins directory.

Please could you report any issues on Github.

tagroids attack megaship

So I haven`t been pilotig for a quite a long time so after hearing the news about Thargroids I decided to out of the buble and go for pleiades.

When i arived in pleiades sector IH-V C2-5 i cathed the signal of megaship so when i decided to chek it sow this

also found the ship logs wich reads as folows

We`ve been puled out of hyperspace.

Unknow vessel comensing scan preapering to get under way once the scan complite.

Wait... Wait... What... it`s charging someting new.

Signal terminated of source


Kind of kreepy if you ask me since now they can desroy capital ships
on the bright side i have scavenged some nice 100k worth booty.
