Thargoid invasion - Next target systems?

For those pledged to Mahon, there is a stronghold carrier in Tau Bootis well stocked with AX weaponry & equipment. It is 51 LY from SOL.

Can I request those pledged to other Powers to post which ones in striking distance from SOL have a similarly good inventory? Please don't just rely on Inara - stronghold carrier inventories can vary over time. I want to the Tau Bootis carrier myself and checked it out personally just to be sure.

... but the Allied Solace remains in Sun Wen and operational, as is the Imperial Sanctum in Hixkamaru.

Targets? Where we start for?

With all Invasions becoming Control in a week regardless of ports and the Titan not vulnerable immediately, each individual system is as good as any other as far as vulnerability is concerned, so really it falls upon which are easiest to take more quickly.

That means different things to different Commanders, but generally if there is a good planetary port for combat pilots to defend and also a useful port near to arrival for injured escape pod evacuations, those together help to engage everyone more favourably than a Control system with only an outpost and a long Supercruise. Perhaps watch the Thargoid War Information panel to see where progress is accumulating!

I can say that most non-Sol pilots at present are visiting the attacked planetary port Weber Hub in 61 Cygni.

Injured escape pod missions are more valuable for progress than evacuation groups?

Injured escape pod missions are more valuable for progress than evacuation groups?

PDES keeps much closer track of exactly what is best and whether that may change this week, although classically it has been best to evacuate critical escape pods from damaged ports. I think injured escape pods from attacked ports were approximately equal with passengers; watch for the evacuation numbers involved and bring a mix of cargo and cabins to get the most you can within the 20 missions limit!

Does anyone know what ports are offering evacuation missions?

All ports in Invasion systems should have evacuations, although if you can survive the attacked ports then you will be able to help more effectively with some cargo space reserved for injured escape pods. The attacked ports are those with the red symbol on the System map!

IIRC; Critical>Wounded>Injured>Refugee

Twelve Invasions defended at Procyon, Sirius, Duamta, Tau Ceti, EZ Aquarii, Epsilon Eridani, 61 Cygni, Luhman 16, LHS 380, Groombridge 34, LHS 450 and WISE 0855-0714.
Four Control evictions at Wolf 359, Barnard's Star, WISE 1506+7027 and Alpha Centauri.
In addition to the defended Invasions, four recaptured systems starting Recovery are Wolf 359, Barnard's Star, WISE 1506+7027 and Alpha Centauri.

Picked this up from the AXI Discord channel. Can someone walk me through on how to do this properly? Thanks 😊

Is it bad that I kind of want us to lose this one? Don't get me wrong, I want it to be a bloody good fight, and I'm planning to get stuck in as much as possible, but ultimately I feel that narratively we need humanity to fail at some point.

Yes kinda.

Don’t worry about it humanity can always be considered a failure without being made extinct in this war.

We've issued an emergency permit to you for the Sol system, we normally like to keep you lesser people out, but since we need help we're allowing you in. Please don't touch anything while you are here and bow to your betters. Rest assured once we've got everything we can out of you and survived this situation we'll once again remove the permit as we don't want your kind here.
PS, please save us.

Although I have reported you to the nearest Commissar for heresy, having billions displaced if it all goes wrong would be a great push for humans to do a Scattering a la Dune.
