Thargoid player impact

Kind of part time at the moment may do some Thargoid stuff. How much of an impact if any are players having on this and the BGS aspect? noticed lots of thargoids apparently on the galaxy map.

Players can help systems to get rid of Thargoids with shooting them down, quite simply.
