Newcomer / Intro Thargy update query :)

Greetings and salutations fellow commanders! I hope you are all keeping well in this vast darkness known as space..

So I have been away for a long time, since after the thargoids were first introduced. I got my ship as tooled up as possible using the current available tech ~(which wasnt much) it felt like what was the equivalent of using a peashooter against the Thargoid. even engineered to the max etc.

So my query is this please, can anyone update me or link me to a thread showing upgrades to shoot down the thargoids? hoping we now have big beefy bad ass guns to do so instead of the aforementioned peashooter..

Difficult to give you specific advice without seeing what build you are actually using.

That being said, you have already been directed to the AXI homepage, which contains a lot of information regarding ship builds and tactics.

There are some things that should be changed due to developments in the meta since I recorded that but it is still quite solid.

With what I suspect are your "peashooters" (ie, human AX weapons) taking down interceptors is indeed very hard. About 30 commanders are known to have killed a basilisk solo without the use of Guardian technology and there are no recorded such kills for medusa or hydra. The basilisk kill is probably the most difficult challenge kill on AXI discord. It took me almost 45 minutes.
