That aint no red giant

Found this star, which for some reason the game thinks is a red giant, when it plainly isn't.

These "baby giants" seem to be more common within the "cross of suppression".

And no, there's no real-universe analogue of these baby giants. They're small, but super-hot, like a normal giant star would be. Kinda laws-of-physics-breaking.
 
Class M stars range from 2300K (M9) to 3800K (M0) so that star has the correct temperature for class M stars.
They don't have enough mass to evolve into giants though. Stars below 0.4 solar masses are convective throughout most of the star and therefore convert almost their entire mass to helium, blocking their development to subgiants and later giants.
But I agree, that might be a consequence of the supression zone.
