I made it last night in my starter Sidewinder, "Quasar". After work I'll be deciding: to go back, or take a risk and use jumponium to go for the Deep Space Challenge... if it's possible from Beagle Point with 32,88 ly range (that's without boost).

+1 Cmdr for taking the trip in a 'winder!

I'm sure that there's a DSC system that's reachable without engineering/jumponium - if there is, then your 32.88 PLUS jumponium should be able to reach it..

Good luck and fly safe
Cmdr A

Indeed, there is! 65 427.48 ly from Sol, I'll be updating previous post soon :D

*edit: previous post updated, DSC in a Sidewinder!

Took three attempts but I got there in the end! Although I arrived at BP with just 9% hull and now - carefully! - making the trip to Colonia before returning to the bubble

Hello CMDR Thomaski,

Welcome to the 65000 Ly from Sol club!

There have been reports of commanders returning from Beagle Point with only 7% hull, so you're good to go :).

Using jumponium I made it further. The system is Iorant LO-Z D13-0 and it's 65 427,48 ly from Sol, 148,13 ly further than Beagle Point. Screens for proof:

...is this the furthest anyone was in a Sidey? The Google Sheet with 65k club only shows three, two in Beagle Point and one just over 65k...

Hello CMDR wielkimagik,

Welcome to the 65000 Ly from Sol club and congratulations on making it to the Deep Space Challenge list!

And based on the currently available public data I think it is safe to conclude that this is indeed the furthest a sidewinder ever has been :).

I am sure that computers have souls; very dark souls. And especially at occasions like this (e.g. your first post, the post that describes your latest victory, etc.) they turn against us and require proper formatting and other weird stuff... (And they thought that Thargoids were trouble!).

Club 65000 :)

I made it to MYEIA THAA RI-B D13-1 with an ASP Explorer engineered FSD (avg. Jump Range 42.5 ly ... Maximum 45.3 ly)

I get there directly through Sagittarius A but its hard to get around the locked regions of praei und bleia [blah] (but no problems with The Abyss [up] )
