Yes hello, I'd like to apply for the club!

It really puts things into perspective.

The historic beagle point star shines on my hull and i feel like I've accomplished my life as an explorer. (Which isn't at all true, but i could easily stop right here and feel satisfied)

Thinking of trying to go further out, but for now i'm at beagle point enjoying the view.

Almost a month ago I commented the FGE Teamspeak:

"I think Beagle Point is fast becoming the new Sag A"

... and in the next week the 65K club emerged and visitors are showing up every few days. What fun! :)

Indeed! This thread is very motivating!
I got lost in scanning all kinds of stuff on my way north, but when I saw this, I became reinvigorated with disciplin and a kind of longing for the northern rim.
I also enjoyed to see a lot of familiar names up here.

Congratulations! :)

While you're there check out some of the airless worlds and see if there are any interesting features visible from orbit. We're going to be tearing them up in SRVs soon ;)

you'll have to come back to the bubble first ! I hope the SRV doesn't cut into jump range though...

After banging my head against several dead-end routes that my jump range was just slightly inadequate to complete (my Asp isn't entirely optimized for max range, as I wasn't planning to venture out this far), I think I'm going to consider this my maximum distance (65,302.68):

I'm going to stay in the area a bit longer to meet up with a friend who is en route, then it will be the long trek back to civilization. Perhaps I'll return again in an Anaconda someday to go to even more distant systems. :)

I guess I should be part of this club as well, although I reached it back in July 4. Unfortunately I haven't played since then, so I'm still way out there. My most distant system was CEECKIA BY-F D12-1.

Wellcome to the club CMDR!!!!
Oh, and I guess this will be the farthest I'll travel on this voyage:

Sure thing, you''l be put int he list immidiatly. In fact the only case where we can have missed somebody is when a CMDR made it to the 65K but didn't return, and thus didn't leave any tag. Every tag we saw over the 65K is in the list even if the CMDRs didn't post here. P.S. you made it to the Trilateral Meeting Point system 65278.49, and I'm still even more worried to notice I remeber CEECKIA systems by name and distance.

Explorer's notice!

The system CEECKIA FS-S C-20-0 A is a dangerously close binary!
I got stuck between them on hyperspace entry, and lost a good 1% of hull.

Hello Commanders,

I'm done. I'm heading back.

Soon after i thought, i can get farer than that (last report, 65366,50LY) i continued searching.
I still followed other Commanders (namely Azyron, Alot, Allitnil, Stulli, Kamzel and Tarumbar)
It's somehow a relief when someone was in those depths before you, so i started to feel comfortable if i followed a path tagged by a commander starting with "A" (most times :) ), however, at the same time i hoped to find a path where noone was before.
I didn't.

However, i came across Ceeckaea BE-F B45-0, a previously unvisited system 65.219ly away featuring a terraformable Water and an Ammonia Planet.

After not managing to find another path that would lead my past my previous maximum distance by accident, i thought, there must be an other way to find one.
I mean, its just geometry, right? I just needed to point at a star in galmap, calculating his distance to sol and then to the next star, until i came to a point my nav computer would work again.

Easy said, but like geometry is hard without a ruler, that was not as easy as i thought. I spent many ours staring at the galmap, writing down coordinates and calculating distances with a calculator (because galmap lacks a ruler, too).
I did not find any paths. Neither for me with my slightly limited range (even if i'd drop the limpets), neither for a maxed out Anaconda. (Thats not exactly true. i found one for the Anaconda, just to find out that path is known: The Treehouse)

Now i sit here with an quite extended list of systems that could set a record, but with no path to them. After i did that for like 3 days straight, not finding any more unchecked systems, i don't think i'll find one.
So, i'm heading back starting tomorrow or the day after. Looking again at the galmap, but this time to find some waypoints i want to visit on my way to the bubble.

That said, the farest system i visited is Myeia Thaa RI-B D13-0, 65366,5ly from Sol; And i'm still carrying 3 limpets.

(A more detailed story is yet to come :) )

I'm adding the distance and congratulations!!!! I have to check but i think you are the furthest ASP out. We don't have lists for ship records, but since you are a fuel rat, and the first one that brings fuel limpets there, I will make an history entry. Also your CEECKIA survey is very handfull, especially since we are returnig there in the new year. If you have time to publish it or link a spreadsheet I'd gladly keep it. When you have time make a thread or a post here with your expedition tale and I'll make an history entry.

I have a spreadsheet, but containing nothing but system names and coordinates (it calculates distances, too).
However, its elay unordered, i just messed around with systems copy&pasting if i needed to. Also, i could not garantuee coordinates are 100% exact.
However, if you like, i'll upload it and pm you a link to it

Yes, thanks a lot, i have a list of 70 CEECKIA systems with distance from sol, main star tag, etc, and i can integrate with mine. If you need your list to be kept secret untill you sell data just tell me. Thanks again.

Thanks to mod Drkaii for having stickied us in the list and for putting order in the explo-forum. We are now in company with the Sag A* visitor list!!!
Also thanks to the other CMDRs that share their sticky space with us.
