Asp-to-Asp (NSFW-ish):

Met up with CMDR Nip Nip this morning at Beagle Point!

I'm gonna call this my max distance unless I find something farther on my way back.
Here's some more selfies, including some Asp-to-Asp shots (How l-lewd!):
Congratulations CMDRs. Your is the furthest ever meeting and I'm about to put in the randesvouz (or whatever is written) section. If you want to make a separate thread with a narratio I'll link it.
Another update on my trip!

I have arrived at Sagittarius A*, after 966 jumps and one week of travel carrying me more than 25,000 lightyears. There I met briefly with CMDR KitsuneThe Fluff, who had impressively traveled all the way to the core... in a Fer-De-Lance!

I am now 25,900 lightyears from Sol, with 39,100 more ahead of me. Please update my progress in the original post!

Will do immidieatly, and congratulations for having reached SAG A*. In my opinion going to sag is easy as long as you don't try it yourself!!!
Still determined to be the most Easterly joiner of the club, and while I am at it: find the most Easterly point that is >65KLY from Sol. I'm bouncing around the 64,300LY line while 6,900LY East of the meridian. I may be out of luck as I think going further West will in fact get me closer, so I could be on a complete hiding to nothing.

But it's fun finding out! :D
I encourage your deterimination to explore and not just turisting, but If you will end up smelted @ 64999 I will be forced to make a "Special Mention" section. And you wouldn't even be #1 in the special mention section, there the brave Sidewinder Pilot that went 58K from sol and couldn't cross the Abyss.

I just reach civilization again and had a scary moment then i collided with a type-7 leaving station in Quince..

42% hull left.....
I'm very glad you made it. I'm still 40K from Sol, RL kicking in and stuff. I have to make it back before the expedition redeparts. Even if I bought Horizon Beta, all my efforts will be in coming back.

This is the new incoming list, maybe someone can get a subtle hint from it.

1: CMDR Traveller_GG - 64999LY from Sol - Playing dice with Death and Life-in-Death with a dead Albatross hung on his neck
2: CMDR R'awx - 50000LY from Sol, 20000LY from Northern Meridian
3: CMDR Wormhole - 47000LY from Sol
4: CMDR Cruento Mucrone - ascending the Carina Sagittarius Arm, about 30000LY from Northern Meridian
5: CMDR KuzSan - 37000LY from Sol
6: CMDR Apemanzilla - 30000Ly from Sol
7: CMDR Mangel - 27000LY from Sol
8: CMDR Chiggy Vonrictofen - 25000LY from Sol
9: CMDR pipstein - 12000LY from Sol
10: CMDR Raiko - Expedition about to depart

Just wondering if anyone is up for a quick meetup.
Thinking of departing soon but it would be a shame to not see some new people while i'm here.

Added the special mention list:

SPECIAL MENTION
This section is made for all the CMDRs that couldn't cross the 65K line, but made inhuman efforts to do so, making their expedition an epic journey. These pilots have a full Club membership, but aren't counted on the main list.
1: CMDR R4nger0 - 58,000LY from SOL - This CMDR departed from the bubble in a Sidewinder with the intention to go as far as possible from Sol. Having reached the Abyss he couldn't cross it due to low FSD jumprange. He is rumored to be still out there in his Sidewinder.

Added an history entry:

- CMDR Arrakaij is the first Fuel Rat that brought fuel limpets over the 65K. No Rat Call has been made, but he sacrified jumprange in order to be possibly helpfull to others. Even with fuel limpets, he broke the record for max distance from Sol in an ASP class vessel. This is the confirmation that Fuel Rats can reach every corner of the Milky Way, and everyone is relieved in knowing this.

Still out here and still looking for the most Easterly point. I'm presently at 7970, -1, 64285 which puts me 222ly short. Getting very hard to find somewhere as the Galaxy curve keeps bringing me closer. Star density is so low I only ever see one jump in the nav pane.

My apologies...I haven't updated in a while. I'm now at 53K from Sol.

Past half way - now incoming to the far side and not outgoing from Sol anymore :)

ok, since new records have been made, and some systems have become a popular end of many expeditions, I'm starting to put some order becouse many things are happening there:
First thing i'm putting order with is this system:

1: TRILATERAL MEETING POINT: one one side it's no more the most distant system where an encounter has been made, that became Beagle Point. On the other side it became a very popular place where many explorer end their expedition and claim it as max distance. So i detatced it from beagle point description, and gave it a proper POI entry in the spoilerized section:

Trilateral meeting Point
Closest Map Ref. Point : Beagle Point
Game map search ref. :CEECKIA BY-F D12-1
POI Type: Historical
In 28th June 3301, a group of three intrepid explorers met just a few light years from Beagle Point in this system. In doing so they made the first distant deep space rendezvous recorded. The CMDRs are: Allitnil, Stulli and Barefoot Bandit. (65,278 LYs from Sol). This system (65,278.49LY from SOL) is frequently visitited by CMDRs that elect it as they further effort, beeing a natural end of a route that stops there.

Secondly I've changed this history entry, where basically I substituted "furthest" with "first".

- CMDR's Stulli, Barefoot Bandit and Allitnil rendezvous close to Beagle Point at CEECKIA BY-F D12-1 (Trilateral Meeting Point) on the far side of the galaxy, 65,278.49 LYs from Sol, and in doing so set a record for the first far distance encounter recorded. After that meeting CMDR Barefoot Bandit continued his lenghty expedition, but the system was already broadcasted in the Explorer channells, and another CMDR was able to "snipe" all his share of tags in the system.

Regarding the new records, making a dozen of history entries would clutter anything. I would leave history entry to something that has storytelling attached to it, like the fuel rat or the crazy pilot that rushed back in 35 hours to take part in a race...

So, now, records, in form of max distances, go in red, in the appropiate list. Club Members name go in Orange, and this includes the Special Mention, altough they don't count in the main list.

I know all of this was of uttermost importance for all of you, but only Orange people is allowed to tell me I'm OCD.

Hey, bit of an update, I forgot that there is going to be a big rush of Buckyballers racing out to A* on the Thanksgiving weekend, so I'm putting my run out on hold until after Horizons, at which point I'll be seeing how good the jump range boost is by getting a Sidewinder out as far as I can.

Hello commanders! So I've been very interested in joining the 65kly Club, so I've decided that now would be the best opportunity to do that. I'm currently at Sagittarius A*, and I plan on making my way to the other side. My goal is to travel at least 3000ly a day, and by my calculations, if I keep going at that rate, it should take me about 13 days to reach my eventual goal, which is the Northern Meridian system (HYIA EOHN PW-G B44-0). So what I need from all of you is any advice you can spare, plus any information I need to give you guys to make this trip "Valid" so to speak. I almost forgot to mention that I'm going to be doing this in a 41.17ly max Anaconda, and also don't happen to be carrying any repair limpets or the like. I also hope to be doing dumps at the end of each day about any Earthlikes/Water/Ammonia worlds I find, would it be better if I make my own thread for that or just post it here, thanks.

So yeah! If there's anything that you guys need to know make sure to tell me what to do, yeah?
