I am tempted to do it, but then it means I won't make it to BP.
I think I'll sniff around for Germanium and Cadmium, these systems have a myriad of landable planets. If not, then I give up on BP - I have to take this ship home to cash in... and buy a Fer-de-Explorance. :)

Evening people! I just go my SagA* bumper sticker, so I was wondering where I can get my 65K club shirt around here. :)

Why would that mean you won't make it to BP if you take my route? The furthest jump required to just cross 65k Ly using that route is 23.41 Ly, which is within your jump range so you don't have to spend any boosts to get there and back :p But yeah, getting to Beagle Point will require a bit larger amount of boosts than what you're carrying though, mostly of the higher end types. Boost usage varies by route and whether that 23.7 is on a full or low tank, but generally you should try to collect as many standard boosts as you can to be sure either way.
Fer-De-Explorance? Haha, I'd love to do some exploration in mine too, but the jump range was too terrible for me to attempt 65k Ly with it. Will definitely take one out for canyon running and exploration of the nearby nebulae at some point later though, very beautiful ship :)

That's some going for a li'l' ol' Eagle... You were in places my boostless Cobra can't get to when I saw you on the galmap earlier.

(You'll have to be content with virtual rep though)

Still can't persuade you to collect mats "á la Frawd" ?

It's quite easy really once you get the hang of it - I've even done in my Asp - just to see how easy it is.

Is this laden or max range?

(at this range 9 basic and 6 Normal should get you to BP)

Where is this route detailed?
The one shown in the DW thread requires far more!

This is full tank jumprange, and I have 20 basic, 9 normal and 2 premium, so I'm almost there!

Well, then I'll go for it and collect materials for the BP run. :)
The route is in Frawd's thread, right?

Thanks for all the info guys! :)

Attention, please...

... To the CMDR who dumped his copilot at Beagle Point, please, turn back and pick it up again. Disfigures the landscape and it's a ballast.

So. Returning from somewhere near Beagle Point (and a memorable meet-up with CMDRs Rusticolus, Halosos and Thudpucker!), I'm on my final approach to the bubble. Just over 1KLY to go and this place already feels crowded.... discovered systems everywhere I look, the bubble looming large.... This is going to be interesting. Not the least because I'm wondering how the docking sequence worked. Surely this will come back to me as I enter the next friendly Federation Coriolis.

Wish me luck CMDRs, I'm preparing for the inevitable intercept, powering up the Shields and Power Distributor now....

I posted it here on my thread, but I did post it somewhere on Frawd's thread too..

Good luck IliteratSqirel! Personally I'd recommend doing the docking tutorial a couple of times before entering the bubble, and possibly call the Iridium Wing if you're afraid of getting killed :)

Thanks CMDR Draco25240, it all went well... an hour of selling data (271 pages, 68mn credits) later, I'm very happy to be back. Good luck on all your travels - an amazing journey you've got behind (but also ahead of) you.
