Yeah I was really surprised that my laptop was able to run it on medium. It struggled mightily on hard though. I played a bit more, I have 1.4k peeps and 7 rides still fine. I was worried that I wasted $75 if it didn't run well since there is no refunds but thankfully it does. [cool]

This is making me consider a purchase. My cpu is solid in every area EXCEPT my video card which is only a Radeon HD 7500 (1GB). At some point I will upgrade to the GMX 960 but I don't have the money right now. Anyone manage to get the game running on a Radeon HD 7000 series card? On one of the websites I read that cards made in the last four years should run the game... BUT... there are on guarantees.

msi radeon 7970 3gb.
I use 1080p and in medium settings I get around 40fps on a well populated (rides lights peeps etc)park. On high setting, this drops to about 13fps. I do find this a little surprising, but I am not investing in a new card just for this and cities!

I'm considering buying a new laptop. A gaming laptop, because I'm so sick of my old laptop and iMac, I can never play games like I want to play games.
So, I am considering buying the ASUS Rog GL552VW-CN471T.

My question is, because I don't know much about requirements etc... Will I be able to play Planet Coaster on high settings on this laptop?

That should run Planet Coaster just fine. If you can run the alpha at a decent framerate then you can safely assume you will run the game at its fullest once its more polished and optimized

My husband and I are super excited about Planet Coaster. We both want to play and he doesn't have his own laptop at this time. So, I have two questions about playability.
1) This is my current laptop. I seriously doubt it will play the game at all, but how far off am I? I originally bought the laptop just as a computer and not at all for gaming. What would I need to upgrade and how difficult is it? I am not capable of any DIY work on a computer. I know the RAM is too low and I'm pretty sure I'd need a dedicated graphics card?? Better/easier to upgrade or get a new laptop?

not too big of a fan about that graphics card, processor graphics are very ❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎ and you'll probably see issues with the game on that. same goes for RAM, i'd suggest upping it to atleast 8GB

its cheaper and you can put in there whatever you want, making it as expensive as you want. for 900-1000$ you got a pretty good gaming pc!I have

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be attempting to install Planet Coaster onto my dual CPU (32 logical cores) server with 64 GB of RAM, 980 ti hybrid, and an ssd. I want to see how many cores the game can utilize and whether it scales better with cores or core speed (I bet its core speed) Maybe I will be able to do 60 FPS stable!
