While looking into this I've developed a concern about trying to use a CG. There are currently 174 registered groups. With only one CG per week across all the groups, the wait for our CG could be considerable. If half the groups submit a CG then the average wait would be 43 weeks. Even if only 20% of groups submit a CG the average wait will be over 4 months.
I'll get something drafted but I really think we need to discuss the issue with FD and see what they think.
Could someone with the necessary rights take a look at the comments that have been classified as spam on the website, please? The spam filter has flagged a few legitimate comments, including a couple of mine.
Apologies for that - all approved (including one posted by me under 'Administrator'!).
I'll probably remove the spam filter now that I've been able to stop spam registrations (about 80 in the first 2 days)...
Just avoid posting any Monty Python sketches in comments, please

Interesting that Labour of Varati is not increasing as much even though it has an outpost (and should therefore benefit from trading and exploring while the other two factions can't). What actions are people taking in Varati?

I think it's a specific time when the influence of the factions change and so we just need to figure it out but good job.

missions! I believe they by far have the most influence, bounty hunting seems to do very little and I 've never really tested trading properly but I'm sure it does very little too.
yeah, according to FD we will be added as ruling faction with control of the main station. There's only 4 factions in varati, I've seen systems with 6 so I don't think we need to replace one, but you never know!
shouldn't be a problem anyway, we're making a huge impact with very few cmdrs so once we have our faction I'm sure we'll have no problems raising our faction.
one thing we could have done was back the Varati Independents Union until they were the only faction left in system, would have made it easier to gain complete control of system in future.
Maybe we need war/gov council as well as a science council to organise ourselves a bit better once we have our faction

The Mineral Magpie was asking for red minerals before painite was added though. Rutile is described as "a wine-red crystalline mineral" in the game. So I'm pretty sure it's rutile the MM is after.
