Yeah - I can see your motivation, Derthek, and you know whatever you say is always read and digested with interest (possibly with whisky, but I couldn't possibly comment about that.
The 100-odd that were around when we started out wanted Democracy, and I think it has to stay.
I admit - this trade loop would be awesome, but being demo also has it's benefits - not least nice long elections for when you want to challenge another faction if the other side is also a democracy
As opposed to the anarchy 'all out war' approach!

i personally would prefer a major faction alligned anarchist group, like "freemen" (alliance anarchists) or "rebels" (federation or imperial anarchists), but i think we should stick with what has been decided (wasn't it cooperativ?).

And that is a very good point, actually - I might ping the Wizard of Oz (saying 'if I only had a brain') next week about effecting this change; accompany it with a Galnet or something giving the back story, and see if we can't get it swapped.

I may have been offered a couple of 2.2 mil smuggling missions by Ring and Blue that I found too difficult to turn down. *hangs head in shame*
they are not illegal as commodities, they are illegal for being "stolen"/illegal salvage. so they would even be to be sold via a black market in an anarchy. the only way around i'd see are the canonn faction giving out salvaging missions for UA.
