Doh! That's a pretty major downside for me. I'm all for trying new things if we think there's an advantage for it, but shouldn't we wait until that feature is working before making the switch? I find it makes a huge difference when coordinating wings.
There is an app for it on apple and android devices, that's where I'm using it.
I use it with my laptop & headphones on, so I don't think that approach would work for me... I hope they get the overlay feature sorted soon.
I'll have a look at that once I get home. It's probably better if those of us participating in the Varati Civil War stick with TS this weekend. It may not be the best time to do the switch

the war is gonna overwrite any other state anyways, right? we don#t have to something on the pending lockdown/civil unrest?
It only overwrites active states, lockdown/civil unrest will stay pending.
This shouldn't be a problem as we can get rid of these states by handing in Canonn bounties which can be easily obtained in Varati Res sites.

For anyone else wondering, you can indeed get the in-game overlay working now if you download the beta version, which on the site is called "Public Test Build". Tried it last night and it works pretty well.

Not to sure why viu went up so much but I've seen strange influence changes at the start and end of conflicts

Going to crush them! VIU will finally meet their end!
In war it is not they who strike first who are victorious but the one that strikes decisively last. We can shift over theories later, let's shift VIU for now.

Stupid questions alert but.......Does it matter which station in Varati that we hand the bounties in at?

- to be save, you should hand in bonds either in thompson dock or bonds hub; e.g. canonn stations
- taking missions and failing/abandoning missions has no effect since some patches. you could finish them for another faction ("folliw my wake..."), that should help.
- EVERYBODY: if you are rearming/selling bonds, please check for "kill x viu ships in cz"-missions, those are heavy influence PA's !
