Rude? I guess I can say what I wish, being both a console & PC elite player, as is @LeoBartlet, or doesn't that count in your estimation?
Google "entitled" then read around a bit instead.
Having been through MMO shutdowns before (just look at my profile pic), announcements like this always sting even when I’m not directly affected, because I know what exactly it means for the game’s community.
Even though the game itself will fortunately still be playable on console for the foreseeable future, the console playerbase is going to be in shambles after today. Communities are always the true victim of any MMO stopping development.
I hope FDev comes up with a way to transfer saves in a more complete manner, and perhaps provides console players with a free Horizons PC key. Considering how cheap those get on sale, it’s not like it’d be a big financial hit for FDev, but it would be a nice gesture for them to make.
In any case, o7 CMDRs of the PlayStation and Xbox realm. Y’all have my empathy.

I haven't been on the forums in a while, but I've been keeping tabs with the console development and playing ED every now and then in excitement for the Odyssey release.
And now... this.
I'm so sad. I was hoping they could pull through. I was so looking forward to playing Odyssey on PS5.
This game has likely been my favorite of all last gen titles. I know I've put more time and effort into it than any other game I played on PS4. I've bought arx, supported the company, and been a staunch defender of ED and Frontier when it comes to arguments over "what's the best space game" or whether Frontier was a good company.
I still haven't changed my mind. I think Fdev is a good company, and ED blows other space games away.
But now... this.
Please don't rule out a future release on console. Last gen couldn't run Odyssey (I think most of us saw that coming) but a complete cancellation?? Why??

To move forward with the story of Star Citizen, we must concentrate on the platforms it is already functioning on; that is to say, the developer kits and production systems we develop it on. - Has anyone thought to buy @xzanfr enough office supplies to keep up with all the /ragequit?
- I actually only have the two questions, but I said 'few' instead of 'couple of', which means that I really have to have a third question, and I didn't want to take the time to go back and change that first sentence. So... I guess the third question is: Did it take me more time to write this third question than it would have taken to just go back and change that first sentence?
