The Darkwater Authority is Recruiting. We are an Imperial player group with focuses on;
BGS: Pushing our in-game minor faction, the Darkwater Authority, with the aim of securing all systems in the Summerland Sector. We also occasionally assist the Imperial Powers in their own BGS operations.
Lore: Teaching, discussing and debating any and all aspects of Elite Lore.
Role-Play: Collaborative and solo creation of stories within the Elite galaxy featuring our own characters. We enjoy teaching newcomers and helping them with both creating good characters and improving their writing skills. The Darkwater Authority also hosts in game RP events semi-regularly.

The Darkwater Authority is a friendly, tight knit group that places great value on each individual member.
We have some of the finest minds in BGS actively directing the factions BGS. These same people actively teach, through both theory and experience, the complicated yet satisfying art of BGS to our membership. With this knowledge and leadership, even a few CMDRs can match the efforts of a much larger, but poorly led, BGS force. This knowledge also allows our commanders to have a high impact in a shorter time - or an even higher impact in a long play session.
We run a regular game of ED RPG. We have an ongoing written story for the faction, which is influenced by our in game RP missions and events. Participation in any of these will guarantee you a place in the history of this proud Imperial faction forevermore.
Our Lore discussions are top quality, with the depths and intricacies of Elite Lore in many areas regularly probed and built upon based on in game descriptions as well as gameplay. We also teach the Lore, from the most basic elements to the most advanced, in order to allow our members to join in the fun of these discussions.
Finally, we actively engage in wing activities involving the Thargoids, and will happily help our members to get up to speed with the latest in Thargoid science and combat.
