The Double Engineered FSD is Insane

Heading back out again, in my new 65(68)LY Asp explorer. Finding 20 datamined wake exceptions made me sweat a bit.
I think it's only 2LY less than my DBX had yesterday, but with a 6A scoop and a 545m/s boost. Smoke me a kipper, I'll be at the galactic core by breakfast
Yeh my AspX is topped out at 72, verry happy and super fast scooping.

Yeah they are sweet, finally pushed my Phantom over 70ly ^^
I'm gonna get another one for my DBX I guess, but don't really see the need to stockpile them.

I read its permanently for sale with the tech broker. I think you need osmium or something for it. Well, Osmium can be mined in Hip 21991. Planet 1

Bongo, Try 'Taras A4', via Mercy Medical Ship. There are plenty of chances to aquire wake scans there. Or if you own a fleet carrier try drawing weapons outside the dock and wake scanning there, since you are the owner the FC won't attack you. (As far as I know its true!)

Yeah I mean stockpile them while they're discounted. I actually need more of that manufactured mat, electrochemical arrays or what. I'm constantly short on the Capacitor line of mats bc they don't drop anywhere.

For anyone interested, I'm planning to build and share my Phantom build at Coriolis. Although I don't know if the new FSD module is selectable there, or ever will.

Playing on PC I fitted one to my AspX this morning. Added mass manager, increased jump range by around 5.5ly.
Only problem I can see is that the ship gets hot when charging the FSD, upto 76 degrees. Before fitting this FSD ship would only reach 63 degrees when charging.

😲 Are you telling me that you can even add mass manager?!? I read some Reddit post saying that would mess it up?

Well, I have two, so might as well try with one of them. That would be even more awesome, and it's a pretty sweet thingy as is. No more Conda for me. The AspX handles "slightly" better.

I'm there now, but the difference for my DBX is only 3.5 LY. My old FSD has mass manager. Is it possible to put this experimental still on top of this upgrade?
I think you can still put an experimental on it bud, but don't just take my word for it. Wait for one of the clever ones to answer.
