Fast boot increases optimal mass too, by 15%. Double engineered with mass manager is better as has better optimal mass and therefore range.

I noticed temperature is going up quite a bit with this fsd and different temp values on different ship.
Like not a real issue on my dbx(60% when charged) , but I wanted to make explo Type-7 and ship was melting on every jump😂
Totally unusable on t7

Finally found time to get involved with them, great improvement on my DBX. Well over 70lys. Also bought a Krait Phantom and got it up to 68lys . That's good enough for me. Maybe I will put one in my Orca for the sightseeing passengers.

I've previously used mass manager on my ordinary enginered fsd. But what would the difference be with the experimental deep charge?

Mass Manager has been proven to be more effective than Deep Charge for FSDs of size 5 and higher
Deep Charge has been proven to be more effective than Mass Manager for FSDs of size 4 and lower

This is true for both "ordinary" FSDs, and the new "Double-engineered" FSDs

I am not a fan of using power plant set ups that do not ensure critical systems (Life Support, Thrusters, & FSD) are above the 40% power emergency cut off with a damaged power plant. I like having the peace of mind while out in the black that should by some chance catastrophe ever strike, i.e. falling asleep at the wheel, I can always make it back to the bubble. Just my personal preference.

I also opt to carry only 1 SRV as I have yet to destroy an SRV while prospecting.

I’ve been away a few months, and so missed the CG for this. And now, ironically, the “cheap” buy option by about 2 days 😅

Quick question which I’ve not been able to find the answer to as yet, so forgive me if I’ve just missed it somewhere.. Is it improved still further by the Guardian FSD booster? I would guess it was, but wanted to check...
