I won't be either. At the rate I'm going I will be lucky to make Sag A* by christmas. Dang undiscovered Neutron Stars & White Dwarfs. I'm lucky if I get 150 LY closer to Sag A* in a day. I am mostly going up, down, & side to side. Not too mention all the backtracking after i grab an out of the way 1.

Thanx for the advice and support guys. I'm now 5200k out and still going strong. Musta done about 3000k yesterday, got spots in front of my eyes now!

One mistake its all it needs..

Had to stop my exploration trip. After exploring the Pismis stars i wanted to speedup my travel towards Sag A. Plottet a 800ly route, jump, jump, jump. Around jump 32 i jumped on a Neutron star, didn't expected this so i didn't throttle down on time. Canopy cracked!

So, back to Sol..

Still got around the 25 million worth on data. Now i had the choice to buy me a Exploration Conda, or do something entirely els.

I bought a FAS, fully upgraded it, and now im focusing on BB missions and Confictzones/RES sites a bit. Reoutfitted my Phyton as trade vessel, and my ASP as smuggler.

Gonne be doing this for a while till i decide to go out again, because, im pretty sure i will go out again. But this time in a Conda.

Since it has been stated that the first Discovery issue will not be fixed for xbox until release of 1.5. Everybody out and about may want to extend your trips until the release of 1.5. Unless of course they state that nav data will be wiped. Then make sure to turn in the day before release.

It was stated from now on any game released on the games with gold for 360 WILL be backwards compatable in xb1. So you get 4 free games a month now with xb1. Enjoy

Hi - fairly new to exploration - apart from buying a ship at a port that you find - is there a way to track where you have been in the game (within the game as opposed to writing it all down)? Also do you know of any list of ports in the outer lying areas?

There aren't any. And no, an exploration log is planned™ but we have no way of recording where we've been

I did the same yesterday in my 33ly Asp, plotted a route to the Witch Head Nebula, 300+ jumps on 1 tank of 32 ton.
Got bored after about 50 and switched to fastest.

I'm out searching for black holes near orion, with some success thanks to info in some of the posts here.
