The Foolish Pirate (PvP Story)

This is a copy from my Commander's Log and it's "In Character", so there's a little roleplay. So for those who don't enjoy a bit role play might find this dull and drawn out alittle.
I really enjoyed this experience and I Hope you all enjoy the read, there's a lot more here.

Ship Location : Hart Station [Bast]
Competent Merchant Mostly Aimless

Upon my return to Bast system with over a million credits worth of rares I was thrown into an interdiction. As usual I assumed it was a petty thief, but to my surprise it was a fellow member of the Pilots Federation; a Cmdr $$$$ who was piloting a well armed Asp. It quickly became a heated situation as we both deployed hardpoints and flew face to face. Through pure curiosity and hoping to receive a informative answer I sent the message "hmmm?", which he replied "hmmm indeed". As I began to type "How may I help you" He began engage me with 4 powerful beam lasers that quickly dwindled my shields, I initiated my shield banks and began to defend myself against this assailant. It was a very heated battle as I struggled to close my videos playing through the background of my cockpit.

Once his shields were exhausted I found myself chasing this pirate away in hopes I could disable his drives and leave him in ruins for his unprovoked assault. Yet I failed to destroy any of his modules, but this battle between Asps had changed into a race against time. He escaped from my grasp multiple times and I was fighting to keep him from Hart Station. Sadly he was able to reach the No-Fire Zone of the station with no shields and hull that was 44% intact. I began to ram the Cmdr in hopes of finishing off what I started, but it seemed useless.

As we both docked at this station and geared up for our next ventures we began to chat, which did not play out the way I has assumed it would have. This trigger happy, over zealous, aggressive fool turned out to be a man making his living in the most enjoyable way he saw fit, and informed me that he never destroys the ships he comes in contact with. Yet nothing he said made me feel any different about the events that played out and I still saw him as a threat that needs to be neutralized. We gave each other a less than kind farewell and we mutually hoped to come across each other another day in the future..

- Cmdr $$$$ next time I hope to finish what you started..
