Note that the system that created the bubble nebula is BD+60 2522,
which at our time is not at the center of the nebula anymore.

Completely off topic, but the image I found on the internet below completely blew my mind...
Taken from a tiny portion of our sky, a fraction of the size of the moon.
And I though while traveling the rift that our galaxy is mind boggling huge... I wet my pants with that image above...
And we are wondering what might be in the rift. I can't start to imagine what kind of mysteries could be in those millions of galaxies out there.

The six doesn't relate to the sector (6000) that the plotted line from Reorte - Riedquat does it? It would cut it down to one square on the galaxy map within the rift zone I think
I'm there right now. Their have been a few others here previously as well. Probably nothing here, but I'll give it a look regardless.

I don't mean to be the voice of doom but couldn't Drew's comments be taken as..
It's there to be found in game = the rift
Don't need Horizons = the rift
Who go's looking = have to wate for the player salome to head there to ferther the story....as she's "following the story" ?

Regarding the Galnet stories about the Seven Veils and improvements - It seems like the consensus understanding is that the improvements to the ship were fakes, but that's not how I read it. It seems to me that if "improvements" were done but then on inspection it was found that the ship had fake parts, the implication is that the improved parts were removed from the ship and replaced with fakes, not that the improvements never existed in the first place.
I have no idea if this makes any difference to anyone, but though it was worth noting.

I believe there is too much focus on the RR line's accuracy.

What is a neutron star if not simply the core left behind from a star? We're looking for a system, whether it contains the mystery or the mystery is simply observable from it, the only things we can jump to are systems. Systems designated by their parent star. So the core off the problem: Which star or type? Neutron. Drew is silver-tongued indeed.

The end of the message said to contain the coordinates. Even says the holofac faded leaving only the text. "text" not coordinates or numbers. I've crunched this to binary, octal, base64.. Nothing. DID find a single coordinate in the rift by simply counting their place in the alphabet. Heading there now, but not confident in this guess.
Just saying, stop thinking as mathematicians and think as an author would. His answer is in how he says it more than even what he says: He's a wordsmith.

I also think this is important - I feel the improvements to the ship were a delay tactic. They were in dock waiting for something and as a cover used the ship 'upgrades' as the reason they were there. After they got what they were waiting for, likely information, they left asap to where that info lead them.
