So the Cannon has had no discussions and done no "science" or investigations based on interpretations of the Palin articles? You expect me to believe that? Not enough tinfoil in the world for that one.

I don't log into the Canonn Gnosis very often, but from what I've seen the conversations are usually discussions around stuff already released on the thread, or biscuits. In actuality it's mostly biscuits.

Fresh FACTS... Drew Wagar does not like Marmite. I asked him about Vegemite and he says he doesn't like either... he likes JAM on his toast! ;)

There has been tons of discunions and investigations. You have been part of several of them.;) They have all been dead ends in my opinion. Palin is a useless scientist (perhaps even a fraud). Lets hope he makes a better engineer.

I think this is the main problem with the UA story. All useful hints have been posted on the forum and not in Galnet. Probably because the players didn't react to the UA the way they expected. I think FD and Drew knows this and will play the Kahina story differently.

Where is the last Galnet article re: Salome? I've been loking at Galnet news in game and can't seem to find any recent news.

Sure - I'm not the one who keeps bringing it up, I have been responding to others. You know, in a forum discussion. Cheers.

Your statement is quite clear. So, you do take offence with others for what you believe. It is solely your idea that there is a great conspiracy going on here, and thus you are filling up what should be a discussion about the topic at hand with nonsensical finger pointing.

It's this one

From a vantage point more than 65,000 light years from Sol, a transmission has been received regarding the Distant Worlds Expedition. Sent by a Commander Salomé, the message congratulates Dr Kaii and Commander Erimus on their colossal achievement, and pays homage to the hundreds of other explorers who took part."The voyage has yielded a wealth of exploration data, and may well contain remarkable new discoveries about the galaxy in which we live. It has been a pleasure and privilege to be involved, and I wish all the explorers a safe voyage home."Early analysis of the recovered data indicates that a number of new routes have been scouted, including pathways to Beagle Point, the Core, the Formidine Rift, the Norma Expanse and many other parts of the galaxy. These routes combine in a complex cobweb, paths through the void. Sceptics were quick to put these discoveries in context, however:"Scouting a route is all very well, and we applaud the achievements of these adventurers," said Karl Devene, head of Astrocartography at Mars High. "But these explorers should not be under the impression that these areas can be considered even partially charted. There is much that remains to be done."

Short memories - that was a reply to a commander who claimed non-aligned commanders were hiding information and fragmenting the community. Now you are making false accusations and nonsensical finger pointing.

All of you (IE not just Clavain, because I quoted him), Where is this going? What is the end result? Why are you expending energy and no doubt feeling miffed with each other over nothing of substance?

If a group of players was holding back information, so what? That is their prerogative. There is absolutly no way FDEV will be favouring any one person or group or letting them have access to anything that everyone else does not have access to.

So I ask again where is this going, other that a game of You! No you! No you!?

Remember ; Its just an Easter Egg, NOT A CLUE

Quite clearly, the name "Karl Devene" is an anagram of the important German cartographer of the 22nd century, "Erk Van Edel"... erm, I mean, it is a hint towards the special Brandy type "Lave Eden RK" (standing for Lave Eden: Royal Kategory, also called the 'dyslexic vintage')... or it could be well-known imperial all-time maggot hopping champion, "Verk Delane" ...

Seriously, no idea.

Apparently I must spread some rep.
However, it isnt Karl Devene, that was my guess, and drew shot it down :( But at least I got a mention :)
