Dates fixed to match the in-game details. Galnet had incorrect dates. Corrected is : Appeal begins 28th of April 3302.

Interesting... When did he say this? I don't remember any "Salome" posts on galnet ... So I'm guessing he's talking about the kahina disappearance post?

I believe the reference is to Salome's message from Beagle Point a couple of weeks ago.
Ah ya the live stream... I did mention it ... So maybe this isn't it ... But if u "look up" at the last 4 sentances ... The first letters spell "rift" bottom to top....
The new CG with former Federation President wanting exploration data seems strange at first, but then again, she has seen "things": "They are out there. I have seen them. We must put aside our petty differences and work together to establish contact. There is so much we could learn from them." What is it that she have seen and does it have connection with Salomé or is it totally "wrong" side she is in ? Makes you wonder, should I sell the data or wait for another one, hmm...
My thoughts exactly. I would imagine that will be other CGs in the future as this a long term project.

Qohen Leth, as Finwin is betaing new releases of EDDiscovery I was thinking it would be nice if your Rift Map was included for his underlays.

I just headed up there and turned in some data. The CG is counting number of reports, and apparently that means number of systems that you have data for.
Maybe the Easter egg is confirmation that Salome has been to the Rift & got survey data there before she went on DWE. However I think that is a conclusion we had already come to - she disappeared from June3301 (the Achenar databank break-in) to the January3302 DWE start so what else would she have been doing. The Norma Expanse is presumably related to the Norma Arm (see Erimus' galactic mapping project site) but I've not heard of anything special there.
I'm certainly thinking about it, but did a 180 yesterday after I realized that I just didn't feel quite ready to head back. Maybe if tomorrow's CG's are REALLY good. Or if the impending release of 2.1 scares me enough. (It's only a beta release, right? Will that potentially affect those of us not in the beta program?)
