- A Peach in the Desert <-- Currently not accepting Jumponium-Rich systems for the map (but a great find anyway!)

Oh, sorry. Well so I guess same thing for the Last Chance Depot. Then make sure, you Cmdrs are filled up with J3 when visiting these neighbourhoods as almost every jump needs it. I, for sure, would have been very pleased to know of these rich systems when mapping that patch of space. 1.2 % Pol in the western Abyss. Very useful.

Will shorten and add some photos to this post tomorrow, but need to start somewhere :) Could use some ideas about how to put such amount of coordinates in the description to look tidy?

Just go to https://www.edsm.net/en/search/systems and you can search for green systems ordered by distance from you.

On the Celestial Bodies tab you can search for a particular mat near you - the GMP just isn't the best way to find these any more.

Unfortunately there has been some speculation that material percentages has little or no actual impact on prospecting :(. So a 0.5% Pol system might be as good as a 1.2% one... This was an issue that came up some time ago when we were considering criteria for green systems (see post #29 in that thread). Also, the Q4 update might change how prospecting works. So for the time being we are holding our horses regarding "green" systems.

It actually makes sense. I didn't know about all these new (for me) considerations. This game has more 'secrets' than expected. Interesting. Thx for the links, Corbin and Cruento (and for your great work by the way).

I'm thinking Proserpine's Garden & Hurricane Nebula are the same Nebula. the coordinates are virtually the same.
They both seem to be part of Blaa Hypa AA-A H36

Also the same goes for the Flamingo Nebula & Shade of Anubis.
These are both in Hypoe Ploe AA-A H?

Hi, I propose to change an existing entry for a nebula due to its incompleteness, as it has neither a name or a description.

Name: Jotunheim Nebula (currently known as just Eorld Grie Nebula)
Type: Nebula

Galaxy map reference: Eorld Grie DE-E d13-1998

Description:
Located in the middle of the Far 3kpc Arm, 1000ly below the galactic plane, the Jotunheim nebula is quite large in size, measuring over 100ly in diameter.
Within its vast red and green molecular clouds, the nebula contains a large and diverse set of stars.
Including plenty of main-sequence stars, Jotunheim also includes protostars, giant stars, and "dead" non-sequence stars.
Along with a typical population of red giants, the nebula also has a notable population of yellow supergiants, with at least one blue supergiant detected as well.

Type: Geysers
Name: Strider's Cauldron
Galaxy map ref: EORLD GRIE PZ-O E6-1206 (ABC 10 A, coordinates 62.3363, 91.8201)
Image ref: https://imgur.com/wCt2k0F

Description:
Strider's Cauldron is a field of iron magma fumaroles, found on the first moon of planet 10, at the coordinates 62.3363 91.8201, in the EORLD GRIE PZ-O E6-1206 system.
The moon's parent planet is quite unique, being not a gas giant, but a molten metal body at 50 Earth masses, in a binary with a similarly sized water world.
Hosting an unusually compact moon system, two of the planet's moons are landable, while three others are currently impossible to land on due to extremely severe volcanic activity caused by tidal stress.

Strider's Cauldron is located in a deep pit, shielding it from the powerful radiation of the system's hot B9 VI star, and allows an excellent view of the large green-red nebula it's located in.
Visitors are warned that the pit itself has rough terrain, and that landing there in large ships may be impossible, requiring travel there by SRV.

Elements that have crystallized around the fumaroles are Chromium, Germanium, Vanadium, Antimony, Tin and Tungsten.

Type: Nebula
Name: Acorn Nebula
Galmap reference: FOIJAEA AA-A H129 (Star inside is FOIJAEA VY-A E1158)

Description:

A small blue-tan-black nebula in the north of the Far 3kpc Arm, about 1500ly below the galactic plane.
Viewed from the north or south, it bears a striking resemblance to the seed of the "oak" tree species, hailing from Earth.

Only containing about seven star systems, this nebula does not appear to hold anything of interest from a glance.
However, the triple class B system FOIJAEA VY-A E1158 is very rich in gas giants with volcanic moons, making it a promising system to search for fungal life.

Name: Sisyphos' Rock
POI-Type: Geysers/Fumarole
System/GalMap: Hyiechou AI-J b36-0
Body/Location: Hyiechou AI-J b36-0 A 2 c a, Coordinates: 24.0°, -134.5°

Description: This system contains a vulcanic active icy moon, while its parent body itself is a moon orbing a gas giant. A 2 c a is tidally locked to its parent body, allowing for a constant view of the moon A 2 c looming over the geyser site - just like the rock in the Sisyphos myth, being a constant reminder of the futility of life in a seemingly endless universe but in the same vein offering a way to self-realize oneself in it, as the ancient philosopher Camus already put it over 1300 years ago. In addition the gas giant A 2 is also a rare Class 2 on the Sudarsky classification.

The site was discovered in June of 3304 in an effort to locate more geological active sites on this far and less explored side of the galaxy. The planetary examination conducted to survey the vulcanic activities on the moon was logged for future references and can be found here: https://elite.laulhere.com/ExTool/index.php?mode=2d&planet=Hyiechou AI-J b36-0 A 2 c a

Type: Geysers
Name: Stella's Source
Galaxy map reference: AGNAIRS CC-B D14-39 (A 3 A)

Description:

A group of iron magma volcanoes, in between the Anthor Patch and north Colonia region.
The system it's located in has unusually high diversity in its gas giants, with four being Helium-rich, two being very massive class IIIs, two with ammonia based life, and three with water-based life.

The volcanoes can be found on body A 3 A, at the coordinates 22.3036, 133.6741.
Stella's Source orbits a beautiful white Helium-rich gas giant, taking up a huge size in its night sky.
Spectral analysis has shown that the giant has faint water clouds in its upper atmosphere, adding to its bright white colour.

Stella's Source is of great interest to explorers near Colonia seeking to push their ship's limits, as most of the materials for FSD synthesis can easily be found here, including Mercury for G5 FSD engineering.
The full list of materials found as crystals here is Germanium, Vanadium, Arsenic, Niobium, Mercury and Polonium, only missing Yttrium and Cadmium for every grade of FSD synthesis.

There is also an issue with the entry for the Abyss Pool Nebula And Geysers.
The coordinates listed in the entry do not correspond with any geysers on the planet.
Have tried reversing both numbers and there are no geysers to be found.
Either the geysers have somehow disappeared, or the coordinates were inputted very incorrectly, because i've checked both sides of the moon.

-4.7720, 70.5221 : Flat plain next to mountain, no geysers in sight, and they would probably not spawn here.
OKN2jhK.png

70.5221, -4.7720: This actually looks like a canyon that the geysers would be in, but there's nothing there. Searching around in the area, i can confirm there are no geysers at this spot, so i would recommend contacting whoever submitted this POI and see if they can double check their coordinates, maybe adding a note to EDSM that the geysers are no longer present.
