I mean who believes that anyone can "own" a star system of billions of inhabitants in Elite Dangerous ?
I would have thought that, whoever is fighting in Lave system, they would have provided their support to an in game faction.
In order to upset the balance of power in Lave.
Are they doing this or not ?
And what about the Alliance authorities ?
Of course, anyone can decide to go to Lave and attack any others Cmdrs they want, as they see fit. And I expect consequences.
But to call that an "invasion" by a bunch of Cmdrs in the name of... What ? "La France espace"
This is so immersion breaker to me.

Yeah, on my lunch break at work when I posted that. And now I'm on a late afternoon coffee break.
I usually only get to play the game 3, maybe 4 days a week if I'm lucky. The time required to sift through all the (insert your own adjective) on these forums to find the good stuff? I certainly don't have that. lol

I hope FD adds news specific to systems or areas at least you are in. Right now it is just hard to believe I can go 2000 ly from point A and I have the same exact news from Point A at that station. Not to mention it is only 2 stories. LOL I guess nothing happens in space that's worth reporting. I'm sure something is going on differently everywhere. It gets really boring sitting at a station waiting for the second round of rares to spawn which we shouldn't even be waiting on. "Oh wait CMDR.... Our slaves are currently making the second batch for you. we have to wait for them." This is the worst waist of time in the game. But there are some other things that are close seconds lol. Anyway I would like something to read while I wait that is in game related.

Those actually exist, but they only show up at stations in the home system for whichever faction triggered the creation of the procedurally generated article.
I suppose the choice is hanging around for ten minutes or so waiting for the rest of your allocation to turn up or pushing off to the next one and picking up what they have to offer. I can fill up my 84t asp in an hour or so and it seems to be a case of swings and roundabouts. As for slaves i cant comment as i dont do them. I think the rares wait can be quite frustrating or quite useful if you have other real life things to be getting on with...
Sitting and waiting for rares to appear is a choice made by you.
You could just as well use that time to do a mission or something else while the next "batch" is prepared. Noone is forcing you to stare at the wall.
Calm down, i'm sure that we will get some more posts just be patient.
Oh and blaming Braben will not get us anywhere, i'm sure that the devs are currently discussing story arcs and posts about what the community is currently up to.
In the annals of history, my guess is this is pretty forgivable as things go.
