So I finally got to Nervi. (Too much time exploring elsewhere!) I swapped out the sidewinder for the Cobra MK III while I was there... I still miss my little DBX, did I mention that yet?
2 d is really nice. For an 0.00 pressure atmo planet, it's very, well, atmospheric...
There's even small wispy clouds at altitude (most are surface level) and, at least where I was, a picturesque low-hanging ringed GG above these Tubus Rosarium.
This Cactoida Lapis was perched on a rock like a proverbial turtle on a post. Or maybe it's a little full of itself.
I found these Tussock Cultro (spiky plants), Contcha Biconcavis (the red "donut" plants) and Fungoida Rectus (white pillar things in the background) on 2 e. Similar atmospherics as 2 d.
I keep finding myself impressed with the visuals even if my GTX 1080 struggles with it at the best of times. Can't wait for further optimization (or 3080 availability -- but I'm not holding my breath on that)!
