The Great Pre-Upgraded Gear Sharing is Caring Thread

with operations going live i am certain there are a lot more people looking for upgraded gear. two of my buddies who have never done foot missions are all of a sudden interested in gearing up.
I am in the same boat!

But I think it's a great thing for the game! I did 1, didn't get rewards, but actually enjoyed it.

So hunting for gear and mats.

Hence I post what I find, even when I dont want it.

Because they’re already ruining it. Most of the time if someone posts something good it’s sniped by someone who can’t be bothered to put in the effort to post that they’ve taken it.
I just hopped on the Telegram group a few days ago, and it is pretty convenient, but I always make sure to comment on what I grab. One way to fix this issue is to only post the item and not the location. Force people to send you a DM to get the location.

New stock after the maint today.

Over the last few months I have noticed a decline in interest in getting a CMDR tooled up by buying pre engineered gear (with or without mods). It does seem to have picked up lately.

I think interest here will increase with Operations.

Not posting location to force a direct request is a good idea. Extra work since the poster will need to keep track of location until messaged.

i favor, “NOT LETTING A FEW RUIN IT FOR THE MANY.”

I put the item and location info into a discord folder that is only used by a couple of people, then copy/paste to give the details out.

In well populated (by CMDRs) places it s possible that they will each check for items, but the frequency of finds being posted and then disappearing is too great to be a coincidence.
