The Guardians: Pilots Needed (Elusive "Unique Layout")

Is this still active? I am currently in the guardian region looking for something to do beyond amassing credits and ships. (Both of those are already completed.) Has anything been discovered?

Greetings Commanders.

After ignoring it for many years I've been diving into the Guardian content lately to learn more about it which got me looking over all of the old media and research about them. One specific video which got me intrigued in this specific topic of a mysterious fourth ruin was Ram Tah in "The Deal" trailer.

I haven't found anyone talking about this detail as far as I can find here or in extensive google searches so I thought it would help bring it together here.

In the video there are lots of references to well known items such as:

However, whilst transforming some of the images on his screens, I spotted something that may be clear evidence that a fourth Guardian Ruin type exists.

Omega Sites

Note: This image has been heavily adjusted with various filter effects to help bring out some of the text better.
Here you can see listed are four Guardian Ruin Sites (GRS) which are numbered and labelled with their respective GRS types - Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Omega, and planet location coordinates.

The Beta site location shown on his screen is at system COL 173 SECTOR HR-M B23-3 and this list shows the following data that I could best interpret:

PLANETARY BODY #GUARDIAN RUIN SITE [GRS#] TYPELAT LONG
A ?[GRS?]BETA33.1238-32.2716 (or -32.2178)
B 4[GRS?]GAMMA13.55-87.55 (or -61.55)
C 2[GRS2]ALPHA15.2?-1??.36
B 1
(could also be D 1 but
doesn't correlate to this
system's bodies)
[GRS1]OMEGA35.375345.3123
(or 45.5128, or -75.5126/8)
? = unknown character

After searching these locations, I came up against the issue that older known coordinates such as those in Canonn's database do not reflect the current in-game coords - for example at Col 173 Sector HR-M B23-3, while the two Alpha sites and one Beta site do exist at their respective planets B7 and C5, their coordinates do not match current location recordings that I have taken:

B7 GRS1 Alpha
Canonn Coord's: 20.6142, 73.4632
Current: 54.0822, -126.1583

B7 GRS2 Alpha
Canonn Coord's: -22.2036, -26.8074
Current: -22.6001, 170.1152

C5 GRS Beta
Canonn Coord's: 48.8147, 113.5548
Current: 30.0881, 143.0744

This indicates that FDev have updated or changed locations or coordinates accuracy / positioning, and this has made searching for the elusive Omega site rather difficult. For example, I have searched each potential variation of the above extracted coordinates at body B1 for the Omega site and nothing has come up.

I am aware that nowadays the game will automatically show all ground locations and signals sites after a DSS or within a certain range of the planet. However, I wanted to perform manual searches in an attempt to rule out any intended "hidden" aspects to the sites in case the game does not reveal them until after it is discovered. Who knows, perhaps they are in a deep freeze on an icy body, lying dormant with no signal until you are close.

Understandably the data shown on Ram Tah's screens could be just for effect, and the coordinates or codes don't really relate to real locations, however, the clues pointing to a fourth site type are clearly there, and so it is likely the Omega name was not just for arbitrary "rule of cool" technobabble.

There is also the likelihood that these Omega sites are buried within the locked Regor Sector systems, and at that point it once again becomes a challenge of how to gain access.

Many thanks to @cmdr-dreamstate for the earlier investigations and I hope this can help any further research. 🖖🗿
