that made my head hurt. Am I playing a game or programming one?
I have an old Saitek X45 would that still be ok for ED?

Hey all, been playing almost daily since December (a lil xmas gift to myself) with mouse and keyboard and while the game is immensely fun played that way i couldn't help but feel like i was limiting myself to full control of the ship,so i went to my basement and found my old Saitek X45 and MAAAAAAAAN what a difference!!
It's almost like a whole new game with the way the craft responds and being able to dip in and out of asteroids and tail a ship for as long as i want.
Now i was curious if anyone else here was using this particular model of stick and throttle and had any suggested changes to the settings. I basically used the X52 default configuration and just changed most of the settings from there but i can't seem to get the mouse nub on the throttle to work for me.
Thanks so much for any help i get!
I am using my X-45, I always swore I would keep it for the next game. I was a bit miffed when Saitek dropped driver support for my even older X-36. I do like to get my monies worth![]()
I ran into the same problem today. Nobody seems to have stock. Which is irritating, because my birthday is rapidly approaching and I need to start dropping hintsSo has anyone found an X52 (pro or not) in the last few days? The Amazon seller I tried to order one from just refunded me, presumably because they didn't really have stock. No-one else in the UK seems to have them.
shhh...

Never bought from them, no idea what the place is like.
You know what people are like though. If I don't send them a precise link, I'll end up with one of theseDrop the hints, and let *them* worry about stock levels![]()

Truth. Send 'em an out of stock link, tell them "this exact one" and let them find alternate sites?

Overclockers had a number in stock when I checked this morning.
Enjoy!

Did you search outside Amazon? I found a local (Denmark) hardware store which had it on their web store. Unfortunately they don't ship out of the country. I think I may have been lucky as the page showed they weren't in stock at the moment but I still got it very quickly. So has anyone found an X52 (pro or not) in the last few days?
