We have apparently had so many new Pilots outfit at Lidpar that we are actually starting to run low on A-Spec Components and Chall Launchers!? *lol* Wow!!!
There is decent outfitting at Appel Hub in Murnakum, both major bases in Myrbat, and in the High-Tech system of Kakmburu off the top of my head. ;)

Hey guys. I would like to join ur squad Ive been playing ED on xbox one for a couple of weeks. I like to think i have a pretty good grasp of the game I can make my own way to Lidpar if this helps :) thanks guys

I think I'll be jumpin on too, if my Campaign buddy isn't on for some Halo.

@2High: Cool man, just let us know when you touch down in Carlisle. Take a look at the roster list on page 1 and keep an eye out for any of those names in Lidpar or any of the nearby systems.

Protip: Get xbox smartglass. Helps immensely when typing stuff in to the galaxy map or just chatting with friends through in game comms. (I personally prefer in game comms text chat as that doesn't block the scanner with notifications). Both gamers must follow each other on the friends list for this to open up on both ends enabling Text chat with other players without having to wing up or use the xbox snap message (don't know how many suns I've flown into answering messages, lol).

Anyways, I look forward to wingin up with you in the future.

Sasha and I havd just dropped over 30 Million Credits (each!) into Powerplay, and want to generate some revenue to do even more. We intend to do this at a nearby Compromised Nav Beacon. If You have never experienced hunting at one of these, We would love to take You with us.

Need advice -- In my only Fire Group, I have two primary lasers, one secondary multi-cannon, and a secondary chaff launcher. The issue I'm having is that during combat, I'm able to wear down the opponent's shield with the lasers; however, when I attempt to fire the multi-cannon on the exposed hull with the left trigger, I shoot off the chaff launcher instead. How do I alternate between the secondary multi-cannon and the secondary chaff launcher?

On your Fire Groups menu, there should be a set of empty dots to the right of the column you're using. You're gonna want to set your shield cell bank and your chaff launcher on the column (Column 2). In battle, to access these things, you'll need to hold the x button and use your bumpers to cycle your weapons. You can try this outside a station, just make sure you're out of the No Fire Zone.

Cant rep you enough. Your training camp is amazing. Good work on everything. including making sure your turff is fortified but more so on the way you make the game inclusive fun for everyone!

Think i'll jump over after work and check it out, I am currently docked at kremainn in my newly fitted clipper (still deciding on a name- although it will likely be "the errant venture") she's fitted for minning at the moment but i'll outfit her for escort/fuel tanker services and swing by the lhs 3447 before I venture out see if I can rustle you up some recruits. Alternatively if anyone is waiting on an escort let me know and i'll do my best to help I should be in game by about 16:00 gmt gamer tag is Loki TDD. I don't have much experience with wing mechanics but I do know how to work the navlock.

/me is too scared to take it out on his own...

On a side note what do people think about maybe setting up an IRC channel for the Academy? Might make winging up and co-ordinating game time a bit easier than using the board or the in game tools?

Hey Mnementh, I'll probably be on later, so if you see me shoot me a message. I'm currently in Tabaldak waiting to cash in my CG prize (7.5 million if I didn't get kicked out of the top 40% overnight). Once I'm done with that I'll be headed home to Lidpar.

In the meantime, check out that guide for Starfighters in the handbook and head out to Low Intensity RES and practice working with the feds. Don't forget your escape vector!! And keep an eye on your shields drop rate. Don't be stingy with your shield cell banks and chaff. Better to be alive and out of ammo then dead and without a reward. Had a wingman go down a couple times last night and it cost him pretty big. Never forget your basics!!

Also, to any of us Academy members who are part of Pranav Antal, there is a huge movement to start fortifying a select few systems this week. If you're interested in seeing your efforts have an effect on the Faction, now is a great time to start. I'll personally be working on trying to help fortify some of our much needed systems. Here's the list I'll be following:

Ewah
Miki
Midgard
HIP 108110 *if possible, I know its a pain, but we need it this time!

I'll be using the Mason build (D-spec T6) so if anyone wants to work on their escorting I could use the company. I've also found an interesting guide on the Pranav reddit (http://reddit.com/r/EliteAntal) that is for Fortifiers who want to make a little trade money on the side. I'll be using that to likely plot my route.
