id like to apply as a student, like to know more about trading and politics, fairly experienced and competent with bounty hunting now and ready to further my skills with the great help of other antel cmdrs, thanks to the guys who have helped me so far couldn't of done it without you lads!

Hello pilots, love this community and their efforts to help on another, great stuff. I purchased the game on release day and have only flown transport missions thus far. I have earned a total credit of approx. $2.8M since release. I decided to purchase the Type 6 last night with some of those credits. Now I'm ready to start earning some real CR in bulk. I find the Trading interesting but I'm totally green and require some help understanding how to best work it, trading routes, and max potential...
I would like to apply as a student. EST (usually to flight around 10PM till around 2AM daily). XB1 gamertag: JGphins Need to learn how to best outfit my Type 6 for MAX travel distance, best cargo capability, learn better transport locations, exploration, and learn trading.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks to all ED community for all the support you have provided and continue to provide to all pilots out there, awesome!

This video was cross-posted by DiddyCarter on the main forum. It has good information about Silent Running. I felt that it would be valuable to Students and Instructors alike:

The most interesting take away is that for Small ships (like a Sidewinder) the detection range for silent running was 250m, and for a large ship it was 550m; so size does matter in this case.

I'm new to the game, been playing a few days, maybe a week, maybe a bit more than a week I don't know, lol! I have two ships, a Cobra MkIII kitted out, not A Spec but good enough for now until I can get more credits and find better stuff to buy, and a Type 6 Transporter also kitted our with what I could afford. Spent 6 million on outfitting and have around 2 mil left for my bus fare home >.< Mostly been doing slave delivery missions hence the Slaver part of my sig xP I joined in power play for about 30 minutes then left since I was attacked 3 times by hostile Master pilots, I still won but I couldn't seem to get anywhere without being interdicted it was frustrating, and lag was getting to me at that point, that was earlier today.. Went back into solo but will definitely come back to open play with a friend as well to join you guys if you'll have us? Sounds like a lot of fun
Oh and you're all welcome to add me on xbox if you want?

Hey illbe on in an hour and will wing up with you and bring some others that are online along. We'll help you with interdictions but we'll have to try and stay somewhere around the lipdar system and try and support it more.

Hey there folks noticed a few of you were looking into the trading/smuggling side of the game. My name here and my gamertag are one in the same. I fly with Kaze frequently and I am the local Trade specialist in Antal space, so feel free to message me/friend me if you would like some training on how to use the market! Im in the PST zone and im typically found online from the evening till midnight or later!
Also Kaze i currently can train for the Market, Mining, Combat, and Exploration and have my ships set up to handle these roles as well. I also finaly got my Combat Python back so i can provide heavy combat support again.

I'd love to learn more about Smuggling, yeh bit of a slave ship by accident (on purpose) and about power play, really confused by power play and the fact that you keep being attacked by Master pilots where ever you go every few light seconds and having to repair every 5 minutes! Can't work out how to gain Merits or expand anything or do anything, lol yeh so I have no idea about power play it's not exactly described very well in game... Power play = work it out yourselves?
