The name of your spaceship

Ya I think it should be like Lord of the rings online Legendary weapons setup. You can name it anything you want. But it will not affect what other people name that weapon. So your Commander name or player name will always be your original name. Your ship can be name different like lotro weapons Like on my warden I have hammer called Toe Smasher. :p. But any other Minstrel or another Warden can make a weapon called toe Smasher.

I will surely find a cool name for my ship. W4rSkuLLs Cargo cracker or maybe The Pod Fester. :D If u wanna be a pirate. hehe. Well maybe not :p Lets wait and see ;)

Simple solution .. Ship Name I, Ship Name II, Ship Name III, etc.

It's also a good way of remembering just how many times your ship has died. :D

For the un-initiated Blue Harvest was the name of the fake movie they used as cover when filming Return of the Jedi. Good Name.

Crossing threads somewhat. I might be inspired by the Culture ships in naming mine as homage to Iain M. Banks. My original (rejected) Commander name was taken from there.

I'd love to use a phrase to name my ship but if they implement ship naming, there's bound to be a limit on the number of characters you can use.

Like all things I try and name: Number of characters allowed = (length of my perfect name) -1

I hope we can use phrases. Always liked "Ultimate Ship The Second".

Haha, I was thinking the same thing. "A Frank Exchange Of Views" is easily one of my favorite ship names.

If it'd fit I'd probably go with "That Which Does Not Kill Us, Makes Us Wish It Had."

I was thinking along the same lines. Also as Mr Banks has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and probably wont live to see the release of ED naming my ships after his creations is how I will pay homage to him.

Personal fave once I get a large ship..."GSV Size does matter"

Go a little of topic here.

Your obviously a Heinlein fan. Watched a documentary hosted by Ridley Scott about Heinleins sci-fi predictions. A lot of stories and anecdotes I didn't know about. If you havn't seen it already well worth a look.

and now back to your regular program.....
