Hmmm. Free nex-gen upgrade for existing users, enhanced graphics and performance, transferrable game-saves. Next-gen consoles included in crossplay. PS5 uses controller feedback and 3D audio. They even manage to keep the VR working on PS5 using backwards compatibility. Pretty cool.
These days though, it's really just what you'd expect from Hello Games. That's a testament to how far they've come since the launch.
Aye, I have to admit I'm loving how accessible the game is. Very easy to drop in for an hour or two, and quickly find something to do. Always new places to explore.

Great, I only recently started playing again and discovered the circuit board $$$ earner hereYup, finding too much to do in this game.
Have to remember to go back and harvest, make circuit boards to sell.

These balls are some type of lifeform.
I too build little outposts when I find interesting places. Usually just power, couple batteries, and transporter for when I want to head back.
If someone knows, I'd like to understand how up until 2 nights ago my frigates were generating approx $30-$50K per successful transaction of their missions.
Since 2 nights ago, I noticed the payouts have been bumped by a factor. Now getting $300-$500K per successful mission transaction, whether trading or bounty collection.
Also non-monetary payouts (mats for example) have increased a lot.
Is the milestone my rating with the various species?
Something else?
I've tried all these farming money-making schemes.....
Thanks for the tip, works wellI've tried all these farming money-making schemes, but tbh, I don't find any of them very efficient at all. The plants take time to grow (sometimes hours) and the yield is barely worth the time. Also, the way the economy works in NMS, if you flood the market with a product, the price plummets... so you have diminishing returns.
Simplest way to make money (units) in the game by FAR is to simply have three S class scanner upgrades on your multitool. Will cost about 1800 nanites to get, and that can easily be achieved, especially if you scan everything & upload it. Then also give your data to the entities on the Anomaly. Just make sure they're all adjacent to each other on your inventory so you get the stacking bonus.
You can make 200-500k per creature, and 50-70k per plant. It translates to millions per planet. There's no extra effort involved, you're just flying around playing the game, but you can easily get over 100 million in a day.
Thanks for the tip, works well
I think one of those teleports may have damaged your spell check...And inventory slots. OMG, I dread the day I might want to exchange freighter for another. Only found out after 20h how to unlock new character tech slots. And cargo slots.
I had to ask in steam discussion how to unlock main inventory in the first place. And I had already jumped through mutiple systems and exchanged my start ship for a damaged shuttle. Which I still use - the slots were a pain to repair bit it does good job.
Oh and it took at least 15 h to figure out how to call a ship. Turns out the starter ship wasbt gone. Still cant call both I guess.
I think I ditch the whole base stuff and go a bit space hobo again. Teleports let me go anywhere I want anyway. Moire interestes in blue tinted skies on radiated planets or so. Seeing some weird stuff.
The exocraft seem to suck hard. I just use the ship. Exocraft are super slow and there is no flyer. I can run faster and shoot on foot. Thought the hover was maybe a heli but it was big letdown. Minotaur is just no.
I've learned a good chunk of vocab. It was the part that intrigued me most. It does take inordinate amount of clicks though and I am tending to limit interactions to less because of all the delays in animation and dialogue.
Story got .me complete Artemis branch, there is Apollo still. Made my jumps toward the 1st Atlas point. Had to do without freighter - I think becccause it liacks drive upgrade. The planets I saw were quite interesting though.
I have just 1 S update for scanning and I feel the difference. I tried stacking with Boltagun upgrades and it seemes to work. If you like scanning I see this as probably easiest money.I've tried all these farming money-making schemes, but tbh, I don't find any of them very efficient at all. Mobile phone onna train. Watchu gonna do tho?I think one of those teleports may have damaged your spell check...
It's a game with neat gameplay lloops that suffers from progress gating at every nook and cranny.
That's my verdict after 24 h playtime normal mode. I doubt I'll finish, what rwally gets me is the delays and moves for opening containers...
