I think in general, the anteater fits a lot of builds better than the kiwi. It's just easier to implement into your setting than the kiwi, which is far more limited (assuming you're a realistic player)

Butterflies - having 5 species at once is really cool. They can be combined with various tropical animals, or alternatively, you can make them look like wild butterflies that are passing through your zoo
Giant anteater - a keystone SA species that can be combined with the charismatic capybara, the marvelous maned wolf, the big Baird's tapir, and the crazy Colombian white-faced capuchin
