I can see all sorts of potential for other event types here and am already considering a tag team race league which I'll be posting details of later today probably.I'm trying it after the weekend. The next step should be 2 cmdrs racing on there and firing is allowed

So let me guess this right : I see you're using a Mamba so the course can only be run during beta ? What a shame, I uninstalled it because I was lacking SSD space...

Absolutely not, run in either - the course is the same in both beta and live. I just happened to be in beta when I filmed that.
Actually ... is it me or have the surface scatter rocks disappeared in beta at the moment?
That explains why when I was in live at the exact start location as you I kept getting rocks in front of me. I wondered how you did that.
Yeah, I just noticed that too. I may have to declare beta (and my own run) invalid. What do people feel about that?

Stupidly I've left my scoreboard spreadsheet at work so everyone will have to wait until Monday to see the results of the first weekend's racing but do please feel free to share any screenshots, videos, first impressions of the course and/or tales of misadventure here in the thead.

Awesome. Bloomin' heck ... you managed to make up some serious time on the Black section there. I'm guessing you didn't get stuck on the final "wall" like I did. I may have to start coming up with names for certain sections of this course!
