The Prophet

Preamble.

Just a short introduction. I created this storyline around 18 months ago, but at almost the exact time my wife had our baby and I've found since then I don't have a lot of time for casual writing. Recently I joined up to Inara and a small group there of which some members also like to write. I'm an author and prefer only putting finished pieces out into the big wide world but I will make an exception for Elite. Each installment will vary in size as it depends completely upon how often my child interrupts the writing process. While I am enjoying creating this 'series' and the character of the Prophet, it is still very short and I will not be double checking grammar etc. Not until it's finished. Each post should be a short read as I usually have between 5 - 30 minutes to write these.

In the mean time, I do of course always value feedback but mostly I hope you enjoy it.

I will use this thread to simply link various sections to my Inara logs which go first to the wing of which I am a part. I'll respond to any questions or observations people have on this thread and I'll be updating as and when I can. I hope there will not be too long a gap.

We've had a few stories that brush with the religions and cults in the Elite universe, but rarely do we see from the perspective of one of the faithful. I'm looking forward to how these will develop! :)

I have a plan and I'm glad you're around for the ride.

Writing about cults and fringe societies is fun as it allows you to room to play around. I'm looking forward to reading more! It also makes me want to get back into writing ED stuff again, with recent events I've found myself a bit drained.

Thanks Rubbernuke. If this has helped re-inspire I'm grateful.

I honestly like short. if you can develop an idea and still leave one wanting more, it makes pleasant things.
