Ok so using the Medieval Latin Notations....
R / A / X / X / L / A
becomes:
80 / 5 / 10 / 10 / 50 / 5
now we simplify by dividing everything by 5:
16 / 1 / 2 / 2 / 10 / 1
and convert into alphabet again based on a=1 b=2 etc…:
P / A / B / B / J / A

Pabbja is the path we must all take...
The Wikipedia page also mentions the Renaissance practice of Chronograms , where the letters I, V, X, L, C, D, and M are extracted from a text, to form a number.
This would be a typical FD trick. There might be something hidden in the codex or The Dark Wheel? 🤷‍♂️

Basic mistake, should have divided by Pi or Rot 13 or that one used for Hesperus that I forget the name of :)

Its a bit stretched

Thats never stopped anyone here before, stretched is all we have atm some even go so far as twisty and bendy to make something fit :) but we never know what will trigger someone into thinking something that may actually be useful anyway so as long as its posited as a theory or tinfoil most people wont have a problem with it. Its only the cult leaders who insist theirs is the only way that get no response....and the ones who hint that they know the answer and just give vague solutions as to what somebody else should do to 'see' the truth get the scorn coz they either deluded or hoaxers and weve had enough of them here. Thats what Reddit and Discord is for :)

Ya I saw that - I do like the idea of something like the Toast having a bit of a hidden message within it.... like an acrostic maybe that comes out when you arrange it a certain way... or something like this:

If I stretch it to include XL being an equivalent to F = 40 then:
RAXFA = 80 / 5 / 10 / 40 / 5 = 16 / 1 / 2 / 8 / 1 = PABHA
Pabha is also a Pali word which means radiant light
🤔🤔🤔

This interested me greatly as never heard of it before, just another thing learned from this thread. Anyway:

So we might have some time to wait yet, taking off any combos of U=V, J=I, W=X & Y=II takes off 61 so 3392 or 3455. Bit surprised its still relatively close at all though as in the34th / 35th Century so there may be something in it somewhere with a bit of subtracting somewhere. Taking out the 'negative' statements gives:

Both too late even for the first known mention. But again close. Probably co-incidence just seems strange that a 'random' text gives dates in the right timeframe generally.

They are cool coincidences, but I don't think you are supposed to add up the numbers in . I think they should form complete roman numbers.
The sequence MLXIII (1063), is the highest year I can see.
Then again, you were seemingly allowed to rearrange the letters.

Personally I think the codex is would be a little dubious for FD to encode, as it comes in different languages.

I think so too but ignoring the last bit anyway just for tinfoil and lols and coz I really enjoyed learning about the code...and after all that myth and astronomy it was something I could understand :)

We can break the numbers up by just stopping when it gets to the end of the 'sequence' so for example:

50 + 1000 + 50 + 10 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 100 + 100 + 1 + 500 + 5 + 1 + 500 + 10 + 10 + 50

Would become:

50 = 50
1000 + 50 + 10 + 1 +1 +1 +1 = 1064
100 +100 + 1 = 201
500 + 5 + 1 = 506
500 + 10 + 10 = 520
50 = 50

which gives us 6 numbers / coordinates (7 or more in most of them though). Which means nothing to me.

Mainly though Ill be looking for this code elsewhere from now on and running stuff through it just for fun. Although it doesnt seem like a 'typical' Frontier code.

After more dead-ends I found what looked 99% like a bug but I'm at the stage where I have to assume it is worth investigating. This was of course observed when I didn't have any passenger cabins so I could not accept the mission.

Off I went to pick up a passenger cabin, and on my return the mission had gone (I was aware this may be the case). However, a different passenger mission from the same faction had an even more tempting 'forge your own path' option. Of course, I'm gonna need a bigger boat passenger cabin than I'd equipped so this mission is also unavailable.

Drat - ya good point. Oh well
The codex also hints that the children's story Princess Astrophel and Spiralling Stars is the place to look for concealed facts about Raxxla's whereabouts.

We of course don't have access to PAaSS, but it does hint to an external source. That cold be TDW, Astrophel and Stella or something else.
When making the Raxxla mystery in ED, FD had the advantage of no pre defined location. That means that they could have taken any text, extracted some numbers and put Raxxla there.

I'm sure it's no coincidence that Lave was placed at R: 13h 37m. When you have the freedom to move stuff where you want it, you can make things fit anything from the past.
