Neptune can be seen as the original 'obfuscated on the outer rim'. Neptune and Uranus were unknown in classical times. The were only discovered after good telescopes were developed. Neptune was discovered last of them and still mark the outer rim of planets, in our solar system.
If "the outer rim" refers to the system, and not the Galaxy of course. ;-)

Attention!
I think we need to change our approach to this whole thread.
1) If Raxxla is easily spotted if you're in the right system, it's very unlikely it's in a popular, named or even already discovered system.
2) If it is in a popular system than we probably need some way to actually find it, for example see a weird gravity reading on our gravity meter or something along those lines.

So Raxxla is either in a popular system and needs a special method to discover it
OR It's in a random system and we need a way to find it. Or something along those lines.

So basically, it's out there and we need to find it. That's a novel new approach. ;-)

I got another 2 tinfoil theories! The first one having to do with the Raxxla logo. The middle dot in the circle might be resembling a sun. This has been said before. But the 3 lines around it might mean astroid belts. So Raxxla might be in a system with 3 astroid belts around 1 sun.
The second is that there may be a clue in the system description. Some systems have a short discription and maybe there is a clue in one of these. Got to be careful to not confuse actual lore with discriptions players made tho.

Hey folks, I think I finally figured it out!!!! All we need to find Raxxla is a roadmap!!

Week 1: Look for Raxxla
- consume many biscuits and much Lavian brandy

Week 2: Find Raxxla
- consume many biscuits and much Lavian brandy

Week 3: Enjoy Raxxla
-consume many biscuits and much Lavian brandy.

Notes: Raxxla not available on consoles for at least six more months. Past performance is no guarantee of future performance. No lore guaranteed.

That has to be it!!! Simples!

Too soon? I'll get my coat.

Thanks I needed the laugh!

And here I thought this was going to be about the invisible rocks ive been "running into". ;)
Nah. As far as I'm concerned, I quit hitting on onionhead years ago. Still have some side effects tho :)
But on another hallucinogenic note, I'm on Odyssey and I'm seeing some weird dots and lines in the loading screen "behind" the orange rotating ship. Like a {gasp} code/cypher thing. But unfortunately, my vastly underwhelming computer skills haven't produced a decent screenshot or movie capture of it.
Can anyone confirm them, or am I going to have to go to detox again?

Mmm
Thought on first sight it’s Morse Code, but the dashes have several lengths so not pukka Morse. Also looks like it’s only part of a message with the blank area from the top symbol to the rest at the bottom. Might be worth observing for
(a) several different ships by one owner
(b) one ship type by several different owners
(c) several different ship types by several owners
And...
i’ve lost the thread, bad night,, awake at 02:00, dog wanted me up at 05:30
Need more coffee!!!😔

Edit: is this “message” embossed on the ship’s surface & therefore rotates with it? Is it a static message or does it change with time?
