The question is if Raxxla is in an already discovered (perhaps popular) system or in an undiscovered system.
The tiny bit obvious thing I just keep hearing the Mars relic when its mentioned, found in 2280, Raxxla first apparantly mentioned in 2296 then Mars completes a near impossible (by Elite own standards) terraforming completion date shortly before in 2291....11 years they completely terraformed the planet yet todays terraforming process takes 100+ years, the Dark wheel "had Raxxla but lost it" could refer to the people who had the Martian relic before the feds confiscated it from them, after this there was a huge push to Achenar against the feds later known to become the Empire, 9The Empire once held many Dark Wheel members...apparently)what is 'a tiny bit obvious'?
Well for me I have a problem with the word 'tiny'.... MB is an author and most likely scripted his answer before the interview as he knew he was going to be asked about it. When I heard him say 'a tiny bit obvious', I didn't raise an eyebrow but when I see it in the written form it bugs me as I would expect him to say "a little bit obvious" or just "a bit obvious"... probably nothing but we look for clues anywhere.... ;-)
Me and a good few more where working on this for a good while, also lead us towards the absolute true center of the galaxy which isnt Sag A, Juenae HJ-G c27-4013 is the system closest "True Centre" for those wanting to know or Stuemeae OW-A c27-6347 in proportion to Sag and is near direct center between Sag A and the G2 Dust cloud, or if we where to go by the grid reference, x,y,z the coords would be 10, -985, 25895 Juenae WZ-Y d5983 and 1 or two more circle itI think I might have found the location of Raxxla. It might be in Axis Mundi. Axis Mundi is something from many mythologies, each saying Axis Mundi is the Omphalos of something. Omphalos Rift. It's a system in game with 2 stars (Princess Astrophil and the Spiraling Stars). It's not a real star, it does not exist in real life. So Fdev has specificly named that Star system Axis Mundi. It is a system with only 2 stars and one of has an exact star mass of 1. They chose to name that system that way. Now we just need to find it there.
No no, Axis Mundi is an actual system in game. It's close to Sol (122,91 LY). The system has 2 Binairy stars. I know that, and by using that system as a reference point being "centre" we found the centre of the galaxy using that as a reference Juenae HJ-G c27-4013 and the others following, unfortunately nothing resides in the system itself unless a point in a direction in supercruise and go is the way we are supposed to find anythingNo no, Axis Mundi is an actual system in game. There’s an interesting read in https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axis_mundi. It makes the link between axis mundi and omphalos. Could be “a tiny bit obvious”, could be a “rouge poisson”!Not sure how the system Axis Mundi refers to the center of the Galaxy ( I do like the idea though)... but it is kind of close to Achenar. Which does bring up a different axis.... Drawing a line between Achenar and Alioth ... about 3/5ths of the way there you pass by (almost between) Sirius and Earth. The axis mundi system doesnt line up with earths axis or the axis of the solar ecliptic... but the name is definitely intriguing.
Edit: the Axis Mundi system is a real system just renamed for Elite: HD 8821/ HIP 6693
It seems to be a girls name:WRT “A tiny bit obvious”- Has there ever been an explanation why the rare good in Shinrarta Dezhra is named Waters of Shintara? Where is Shintara? Has someone searched for it? Is this a clue of some form??
Oh dear, a forlorn quest for me then!It seems to be a girls name:
perhaps this is the hidden route to raxxla: https://www.shintaranicole.com/
you need the right hairdo to get an invite to the TDW![]()
An axis mundi should align with the pole axis of a planet (usually earthNot sure how the system Axis Mundi refers to the center of the Galaxy ( I do like the idea though)... but it is kind of close to Achenar.
