The Marlinists have always been one of the top contenders for either finding Raxxla or something very closely related to it. If Baltah'Sine is close, that would probably merit checking especially the rings they are naturally found at. Though, I still need an explanation for Capella and the moon Duval's Grave amongst other oddities.

I can't find the posts earlier but I had thought I read something about the importance of Delphi.

I find that interesting. The Sirens were made into flying creatures and had dwelled in the land of Apollo (Delphi) as punishment by Demeter. It is said that they would live only until someone who heard their singing would pass by (whisperer in witch-space?). Maybe a connection there?

Baltah'Sine is not relative in my opinion, it’s in the general ballpark but not the correct plain so to speak, it’s too wide a mark in my opinion.

Delphi in game is home to the stations Oracle and Donars Oak.

The Oracle of Delphi sat over a geographic rift, in the temple which was situated upon the location of the omphalos.

There is a Hyperborea - the mythical land beyond the far north, and home of the founders of the shrines of Apollo at Delphi in game. This too is situated in the Underworld area in game… very close to the system Axis Mundi.

Donars Oak is a Saxon tree cult representative of a world tree or axis mundi.

The system Delphi is a good and likely obvious match but it’s hundreds of light years away from these underworld systems.

So, yeah looks like we are looking for something much closer Achenar with possibly a series of events leading eventually to spillover to all 3 superpowers at Baltah'Sine.

Rochester - how did you come up with that specific angle of the Path of Persephone?
Simply join the dots?

Demeter is in game so is Persephone, draw a line between them and extrapolate.

The App I use allows for full 3D orientation.

I then inserted various (numerous) layers I have to see what might correlate.

One such was the early discovered systems and Pandemonium (capital of John Milton’s Hell).

I then looked for other hell / underworld systems, found some very close by. Then thought of how the codex might give other clues. Which took me to ‘Much like the ancient myths of Atlantis, El Dorado and the kingdom of Prester John’.

Around these underworld systems are other systems denoting sunken lands like Atalantis, cities of gold like El Darado and mythological lost lands.

I then just thought it logical it all seemed to correlate. I could go on but but I’ve covered this previously. Not saying it’s definitive, just a potential theory but one I’m pretty sure is very likely.

Oh my apologies - I didn't see Persephone as a location. I see it now.

If you don't mind me asking - what program are you using called?

It’s an IPhone app called 3DModelling. Very simple to use. I’m trained in GIS but don’t have the time to build this data via my Office systems, so this App is a rough n ready compromise, but it allows me to plot points very quickly in 3D.

I’ve since updated this underworld list following tin-foiling on the Shibboleth, resulting in the discovery of the naming origins of the system Ahti, the fabled location of the lost Sampo device of Finnish mythology.

Given Ahti’s general location close to LTT 606 (Marianne's Journey to Arcadia) and Artemis (Elite Legacy), but predominantly Ahti being yet another sunken kingdom, I no longer believe it’s a coincidence so have included it.

LTT606 is relatively close to the path of Persephone and Demeter in game, it has the faction ‘Confederation of Muriges’ and a persistent NPC contact named ‘Persephone’ (at least last time I checked)!

I do believe our attention towards these underworlds is intended, there is another piece of the puzzle missing, the references implied by a Princess Astrophel and the Spiralling Stars.

Is the system Artemis a metaphor for the ‘children’s story’ so because it’s the setting for Brookes book ‘Elite Legacy’ which does reference a child’s story?

Artemis was also the sister of Persephone.

Is Marianne's Journey to Arcadia a metaphor for Lady Mary Sidney, ergo a royal female Astrophel?

Who knows. But it just seems to correlate far too well. But still what is it we are supposed to find?

Its unlikely I feel to just be ‘there’ because someone would have found it by now. So we need to entertain the possibility it could be anything that directs our attention, a mission, a POI a number station etc, I suspect there ought to be a way point, that tells us to go elsewhere.

There are other obvious paths, but I feel more information is needed before any conclusive leads can be built.

Has anyone ever asked FD if a Pulse wave analyser would help the search for Raxxla?
I also think that the analyzer shouldn't care if they are rings or not.
I always carry it around and try to scan in circles, but I get no results.
I mean, it should work on any mountain, but it only works in the rings... why so?
I also recently showed us a new ship Targoid, who can see it in advance?
I am writing this because it is useless to look for a place to have it in order to see it.

I think we have to carry something with us to see THIS. And it doesn't have to be something.

Interestingly, in Elite Dangerous we only have a Scylla and no Charybdis. One of the closest systems is Eurybia which a bit curious 🤔

Ninabin is closer but having trouble finding a reference.
Charybdis is a federal farragut cruiser..

I thought I watched a video some where of FDEV saying to pay attention to station numbers...

I thought I watched a video some where of FDEV saying to pay attention to station numbers...
Ha-ha not this old chestnut again ;)

This was the CEO, he basically said the wrong thing, he was meant to say ‘number station’ ergo satellites which issue coded messages. This was later identified by a senior FD Dev to be an error on the CEOs part. It’s all in this thread somewhere.

Nothing to do with Raxxla just a hint he tried to drop about Gen ships. The numbers on Fed stations have no depth to them other than denoting the bodies of the system they are in, it’s cool but not a mystery.

The Nameless appear to be an FDev created minor faction that a number of squadrons have adopted for RP-purposes. Probably a good candidate for seeing if there are oddball missions. Though, that beacon in Shinrarta Dezra regarding Pilot's Federation Influence kind of begs the question of whether that is truly productive.

Was thinking about Rochester's idea of the underworld/lost city theme. Maybe we should be thinking more ascent aspect ala the Eleusinian Mysteries - the returning of Persephone to Demeter. The descent, the quest, then the ascent. Really not sure how that would fit in in our search - just throwing out ideas.
As it turns out, I might have a document that can help with that particular approach. I actually think that is a wise idea. I had collected this more for intellectual curiosity but maybe it will help us. Obviously, this is not my work. Found online via Google searches.
