Still donāt see why you want those mini bottles, when you never fly without several full sized bottles onboard.

No such thing as a silly ideaā¦The Narcissus has an interesting Floral diagram:

Asphodel is realy a different flower. Probably just the Brits having trouble differentiating and messing up the names. No such thing as a silly ideaā¦
The Narcissus diagram is a brilliant connection!
I think this is something worth considering⦠O7
Not a botanist, but quick search, the flower Narcissus is commonly known as a Daffodil, a derivative of Asphodel / Asphodelus?
The poetās flower.
The system Persephone and Asphodel are slap-bang in the Lost Realms area, very close to Axis Mundi, Iāve looked but couldnāt detect anything in āLegacyā.
Worth further scrutiny I think.
Sources I just found said daffodil is an English derivative.Asphodel is realy a different flower. Probably just the Brits having trouble differentiating and messing up the names.
Never the less, asphodel is kind of important in the Greek underworld: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asphodel_Meadows
Also, before the Emperor's ascension, her senatorial seat as a Lavigny was... Facece. A system which already raised plenty of suspicion, as it is.Silly hypothesis coming up!
I've been re-reading the abduction of Persephone myth. I think the story is interesting because Persephone has a system, a planet and a station in ED. In addition there are several uses of the name Cora. I've used this version: https://www.greekmyths-greekmythology.com/myth-of-hades-and-persephone/
The second version, that includes Demeter (no fun without her). the story is simple:
- Demeter and Persephone descends to earth.
- Demeter has some agri. business, Persphone plays with friends (Nerids and Naiads).
- Hades likes her, asks Zeus for help and they get Gaia to plant a yellow Narcissus flower (daffodil): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narcissus_(plant)
- Persephone likes the flower, picks it and gets sucked down to the underworld in the hole left by the stem of the flower.
- The Nerid Cyan tries to help P., but turns into a river.
- Demeter comes back and is not happy. She turns the other Naiads and Nerids into Sirens.
- After a while Demeter bumps into Hecate. Hecate is a clever girl. She tells Demeter to check with Helios (the Sun), because he can see everything.
- Helios tells what happened. Demeter confronts Hades (her brother). He agrees to let Persephone go back to Demeter.
- Unfortunately Persephone ate some pomegranate seeds before she left the underworld. She therefor has to go back down, every winter (6 or 4 months each year).
We have all read this story. Nothing new here. What I started to wonder about was the flower. It acts as a plug to the portal of the underworld.

And an interesting Floral formula:
Notis the Mercury symbol.
Floral formula Br ā¶ āæ P3+3+Corona A3+3 G(3)
Bracteate, Actinomorphic, Bisexual
Perianth: 6 tepals in 2 ls of 3
Stamens: 2 ls of 3
Ovary: Superior ā 3 fused carpels
Here comes the silly hypothesis:
Raxxla is controlled by a sinister cabal. They are not the wicked men that Rafe Zetter tells about. They are wicked women. They all carry flower names and control important positions. Examples are:
- Florence Lavigny, mother of the Emperor.
- Jasmina Halsey, ex president of the Fedreration and the mysterious only survivor of the Starship One accident: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jasmine
- Azalea Halsey, Jasminas sister: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azalea
- Felicia Winters, shadow president and ex president of the Federation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felicia_amelloides
Florence Lavigny has probably conducted the most masterfull coup in galactic history. She has taken the Empire from the Duval family. Also, before the Emperor's ascension, her senatorial seat as a Lavigny was... Facece. A system which already raised plenty of suspicion, as it is.
I would try Onionhead. The Onionhead flower should be quite similar to the daffodil. Not in game today but checked EDSM and Asphodel is inhabited and has an Earth-like World, Irving World, which has a moon, Irving's Moon. The moon has two orbital stations: Saavik's Sanctuary and John Irving Station. I wonder if the names are from a Kickstarter backer? Or do they mean anything else to anyone?
I like the idea of taking something, in the legends a flower, and getting pulled into the underworld and wonder if this means that there's something in the system we need to take, e.g. into cargo, for the next step in the search.
U got me thinking about Parijat againā¦.I would try Onionhead. The Onionhead flower should be quite similar to the daffodil.

Well, Arissaās similarity of appearance to SalomĆ© was suggested in Premonition and we speculated that she was another Dark Wheel clone oo....Florence Lavigny has probably conducted the most masterfull coup in galactic history. She has taken the Empire from the Duval family.
Her husband Prince Aristid Lavigny was murdered by Emperor Hengist Duval, back in the early 3250s. Arissa was only a few years old at this time.
It's not quite clear if Florence actually had an affair with the Emperor or if she has manipulated the DNA of her daughter, as revenge for the murder.
The eventual death of Hengist Duval, very likely happened on her orders. The final act, when she knew she had consolidated the position of her daughter.
Florence, Felicia and Jasmina has shadow influence of one superpower each. It's quite a cabal of flower girls.
I thought it was a tribute to John Irving the author (World according to Garp, Cider House rules, Prayer for Owen Meany....)Not in game today but checked EDSM and Asphodel is inhabited and has an Earth-like World, Irving World, which has a moon, Irving's Moon. The moon has two orbital stations: Saavik's Sanctuary and John Irving Station. I wonder if the names are from a Kickstarter backer? Or do they mean anything else to anyone?

Not quite. I think we might be a bit short on cosmic enlightenment. We there yet?
Yes. But the designated docking area is not clearly signposted, so weāre going to have to go around a few times until we find one, then we need a trip to the toilets. Then itās an up hill walk and maybe a boat ride, if weāre lucky itās still open butā¦We there yet?
The Terra Mater system was permit-locked at launch but the permit-giving faction did give out the permit from systems they had a presence in.Iām not all convinced about the 7th moon bit of the codex, sounds like obfuscation to me. Lyta Craneās name sounds too made up also-LYT dark systems? Crane could be Corona Australis (CrA) or Crab Nebula?
(Edit: Iāve visited both!)
Yes, I think several systems (including Terra Mater) were permit locked with permits obtainable from adjacent system megaships a few years ago, i.e. well after game launch. But I donāt know if Terra Mater was permit locked before that.
Itās not at all clear how to find the āomphalos rift deviceā or how to activate it. I visited and honked the two installations by Terra Mater 6, docked and investigated the homing lights in GR8MINDS Coriolis....
