It would certainly irk quite a number of PMFs that have poured years into expanding their faction's territory.
It’s been on the cards for a while, the two FD-sponsored novels I mentioned plus the Salomé storyline all carry this message. And I seem to remember about 3 years ago a report from a livestreamer visit to FD where the long term 10-year plot basis was laid out; aliens take over the bubble & humanity has to fight a guerrilla war to reclaim. I suspect that was the real reason that Jacques Station ended up where it is to form the second bubble from which to fight.
Edit: but will the bugs take over Shinrarta? My two accounts are both based there. Must move Jorki’s annie out to Colonia and Tyko’s new explora Phantom (still aim to Quest for Raxxla, despite recent disappointment!) to ......where?

Oh well, I have to say that this Interstellar Initiative is having a lot of success...
It is neither credible nor incredulous. It is unverifiable and therefore noise, not signal. The fact that it is being withheld can equally mean that its yet another hoax. I won't be losing any sleep over it.

Not like when I got told there’d be a clue to Raxxla at Hutton Orbital. Trekked all the way out there and no Raxxla clue at all, just a free Anaconda.
The clue may be that Conda itself. Only a Hutton-Conda with pre-registered unique coords can find Raxxla !
Did you open the GalMap of this ship ? She may have unknown permits granted !

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure there is indeed a large permit locked section that includes at least part of the witch head nebula. AFAIK, the actual nebula isnt locked, but there is a permit locked area that is often referred to by it's proximity.
Edit: apparently, the locked sector is just "above" the nebula. Can't play today to verify, but i'm sure others will confirm
