You are talking about Ancient Ruins or Guardian Structures? If Guardian Structures, I had checked recently and there are no hidden assets behind the doors currently. You can try again, maybe you can see something different.
Update on the HD 144218 star:

The game goes to the same blank spot when entering:

It's apparently 8-sco? If this is a major star why is it not there? Or is this a dim star?
Given that hutton orbital is the nearest star and whatnot. I'm starting to wonder if raxxla isn't literally the hutton orbital joke....
Maybe they went beyond space-time.In front of bunkers door at Guardians structures. To me, it does not fit to what we usually see there.
Second layer is one of the reasons for my speculation on Guardians - Raxxla relation.

Yea, but from what I've looked you can't see it in game. It's the invisible spot those two references point you too. Has anyone found beta 2 scorpii? is it just referencing the wrong location?Beta 2 Scorpii: its part of a group of 6 stars that form Beta Scorpii

That's actually kinda cool a system with no star but unable to route to though the location exists. I recall something of people talking about systems with no stars or dead stars or something of that nature.
It's possible that the galaxy map could be bugged might wanna submit a ticket see if you can get this verified as a bug or as intended. If it's not a bug then it becomes a more interesting system from most we seen so far.
Just for old times sake....what base or site is this in the Announcement picture? Have they carefully avoided the name above the entrance? Could it be....?

Is the galaxy map dynamically updated as we explore, or are all guardian structures already available in the map?
I'm checking nebulae from time to time and try to find guardian systems. This would be useless, if they only show up in the map, when someone visited and scanned the system.
I use bookmarks in the galaxy map to easily see the guardian systems, hoping to see if they went or came from somewhere by looking at the map from above.
System "Ra". It's one of the old systems. I saw nothing suspicious there, but I wasn't looking that hard..
I've visited the old systems multiple times. Once I tried to travel to all of them in a certain sequence. Starting from Lave and jumping only to the next system in the list, which had the shortest distance. (Having the limited jump range of the old game in mind). Didn't trigger anything though.
Guardian doors / "key"-hole. This looks so promising. But again we don't get the slightest information what to make of it. I still can't believe that the game is designed to say: "there are billions of stars .. go figure it out.".
No, not exactly. What I've found, and what Noobilite is confirming, is that when you search for HD 144218 on the galaxy map the query is accepted and the cursor shows you where the star SHOULD be, but there is nothing displayed on the galaxy map. It's as if there should be a star there to route to, but it's simply empty. This is the same issue with HD 1337 (1337=Elite) if I'm reading you guys correctly.

One user who posted after me said "yea there are a lot of stars that result in an empty location. like trying to look at the highest star on the map according to EDSM when you search it in galmap you cannot see or target that star at all." According to EDSM the highest star is Dryeau Aub AA-A h4 A. I can see this star on the galaxy map when I search for it, as per any other normal search.
HD 1337 also brings me to a result on the map, not an empty location.
I'm hoping there are other examples and that this is a bug... otherwise...
WE'RE MISSING A STAR BOYS. O_O
"Thou rollest up into the horizon, thou hast set light over the darkness, thou sendest forth air from thy plumes, and thou floodest the Two Lands like the Disk at daybreak. Thy crown penetrateth the height of heaven, thou art the companion of the stars, and the guide of every god.
