Ah, i see what you mean. A few of us are somewhat suspicious of the 'mysterious tip-off' missions you may sometimes receive for that same reason. Unfortunately a lot of the points in the toast also seem to comparatively point to other locations also, as shown by a few seemingly reputable commanders in here, so it's all very confusing to us. There tends to be a lot of conjecture. I agree its worth testing at any rate. Even if it doesn't pan out it will provide useful data.
I wasnt trying to display disbelief. I dont mean to sound as such. I think its a good theory too. I havent really had a good one in almost a year, and it turned out not very good in the end. Just sharing my thoughts and what little insights i have.

due to the translation, apparently they did not quite understand each other, everything is fine=)
You’ve been here a long time, as I understand it, tell me, and you were looking for the voices that were in the ship Thetis?

No. I havent figured much of the riddle out at all. Most of my knowledge in game comes from this thread and a few posts and youtube videos from guru-951.
Most of my theories were based on comparing the Raxxla image to things in game with similar shapes from different angles.
One involved how close the Raxxla image looked compared to a specific image of a tesseract, but without any ideas of where we should be looking.
Another was, i thought the guardian beacon from a certain perspective looked very similar to the Raxxla image's specific shape, but still no real idea of how to use that.
I wish i could be more useful to the thread but im just learning as info comes along.
I cant find either images to display anymore but they are buried in this thread, somewhere in the last 300 pages or so.

I suspect there’s a strong link between Raxxla and either Guardians or Thargoids. To me the “xx” sounds suspiciously like the grating of a claw on a wingcase (), it sounds like an alien name, but I think Guardian rather than Goid. It seems to fit the lore better, and I think the alien artefact on Mars is a clue hence my current emphasis on searching Sol.
It would make sense for a mission chain to lead us towards it, and would fit with DB’s stated expectations of the way gameplay would unfold. If it is in Sol then it’s hidden or permit-locked (Triton lock has always seemed suspicious). I had a tip-off the other day from Sol Nationalists (or similar), but it was a massacre mission & I’m too old, slow reflexes, rheumaticky and just not interested in that side of play. I have only done missions for Mother Gaia in Sol, so don’t know why I should get a tip-off from that faction, if there is a reason other than rng with sufficient time in-system (which is what I suspect for TO missions, though follow-on missions seem a little different and may be more pertinent).
I agree most tip-off missions are probably RNG. I still think it would be a good place to hide something significant. that way everybody wouldn't easily find something.
I do not have permission in the ash, but I also think that it is possible in the ash. I have a request for you, do you see a chain of tasks at stations near Mars or on Earth? Tell you my guesses?)
I wouldn't thank google translate too early. It looks like your written English is far far better than google translate
A lot of missions have follow-on missions including Sol factions. I like your thinking about how we are 'expected' to play the game, as in how they thought we would, not how they think we should. I know DB has said he expected people to jump around more, instead we tended to stay in one spot and investigate and explore every inch of it, no idea if that just means they built a bigger inhabited bubble and put more things in more system so more activity or something more meaningful though.
Still working on hypothesis that R is in Sol, some thoughts came to mind. When Jorki first got the Sol permit I visited Triton and saw a steady stream of Fed Navy ships arriving & departing Triton, though none now; might fit with the Feds finding the alien artefact on Mars & getting a heads up on alien presence/knowledge in Sol...??
Pluto might suggest Hades- death of a child/loved one? (Parent's Grief/Lover's Woe)
The Codex's "Astrophel" seems supiciously like "Astrophil"s articles in the New Scientist magazine. He had an article on the "Tale of Woe: star-cross'd lovers" - doomed existence of IRL Bellinda and Cupid inner moons of Uranus, but checked that region with no success... In the Omphalos myth Zeus had two Eagles fly from opposite ends of the world & where they met (at Delphi) the Omphalos stone was placed to mark the centre of the world. Bought an Eagle, flew from Sol out to Pluto & Charon, though they and Uranus were unknown to the ancient greeks so their end of the world would have been Saturn. Halfway from Saturn to Sol? Halfway from Pluto to Sol? (10,603ls from Sol), Halfway from Uranus to Sol? (if Pluto discounted as a planet? 4797ls). Olympus is on Mars, so an orbit at twice Sol to Mars? (1462ls); checked these without success. Checked L4 & L5 lagrange points of Uranus, Saturn & Jupiter for any Greek/Roman asteroids or other orbiting bodies (Astrophil had an article on a mighty Trojan asteroid at Uranus L4) -nowt!
Those halfway ideas seem valid, but to search a whole orbit???
Astrophil also had an article that stated there should be stable orbits between Mars & Jupiter for another planet. It's odd that the asteroid belt is marked on the system map for that region but it is not selectable & there are no 'roid clusters there.
time to feed the hound and get a sundowner to drown my sorrows!
I skimmed the 50 pages or so just to see if I could find any relevant stories in the time-frame given for ED release and the "Lyta Crate" + Astrophile context in the Lore.
Nothing stands out. And no "L. Crane" authors as far as I can see. "Journalist" reference still nagged my mind, so I kept reading.
Astrophysics (astro-ph new, recent, search)
includes: Astrophysics of Galaxies; Cosmology and Nongalactic Astrophysics;
Earth and Planetary Astrophysics; High Energy Astrophysical Phenomena;
Instrumentation and Methods for Astrophysics; Solar and Stellar Astrophysics
astro-ph is a huge area so I tried a few keywords like "Lyta Crane", "Tornqvist", "Omphalos" and a few more.
I'm not sure whether https://arxiv.org/list/astro-ph.HE/ could be of interest, so I did some similar searches there.
Searching for "L. Crane" in the archives actually gave me some results. One of them stood out.
But quite quickly I understood it wasn't relevant due to the full author name beingLuis Crane.

ARE BLACK HOLE STARSHIPS POSSIBLE?

You can grab the PDF from that page if you're in for one heck of interesting read. only if you're a total nerd like me that is.
Dig into the math speculating the size of a small BH to power a starhip.
Distraction 3 - Omphalos references
As part of this hobby to dig up things from the internets, Omphalos does have some references in Physics.
Cosmologists may remember Philip Gosse, who in 1857 argued in Omphalos that the world (and the Universe?) was created only a few thousand years ago (say in 4004 B.C.); complete with all that was needed for it to function just as we find it does. According to Gosse the Universe was created with all the fossils needed to keep palaeontologists employed and alluvial gold deposits ready to be mined in California. Young-Earth theologists hold similar views to this day.
Lyta is not really a name.. that may be good or bad. My 1st guess was LYTA are all star classes, but I've not got anywhere wit that either. Astrophil not really related to Lyta crane - one is TDW , the other is Raxxla - it may be a mistake to join the codex entries in this way, but link Astophil with Astro-physics in general may be helpful..
Spiralling stars might point to merger events for detecting gravity waves, but unfortunately these events are all outside the milky way.

I tend to agree with you, I was just messing about to see if any references popped out though. And you see where it lead me ...
EDIT: Still trying to see if LYTA can be some other kind of reference in physics as well. I doubt the codex entries have such relevant reference or meaning though.
I doubt FD coming up with such an elaborate piece and non-coherent 'hoax'. But this is the first time we actively use the codex as part of the metadata to solve the mystery.
raxxla ....if we are to believe the elite dangerous universe timeline, almost certainly is within 300 ly of sol as there are less than 300 years since space travel to other systems began and the first mention of raxxla and the fastest ships could travel at this time appears to be 1ly per year.
We've already had hints from fdev employees that it's near the bubble, so this fits.
Since it hasn't been "discovered" yet as any given planet. ..i'm convinced still that the beans were semi-spilled and that it is an object hiding in a roid belt. Most of these are unexplored in-person (normal space) even in the bubble.
I'd say that sphere of searching is really the best guess.
Ok, on a few different occasions, I have seen repostings of this hoax and friends have brought up OA's April Fools Video claiming Raxxla has been found and to use a set of keystrokes in the Jump sequence to deactivate the jump and find yourself in a system containing Raxxla. Folk's. If you have not already figured this out to be false and a joke, let me put this to rest right now.
Now, having stated this, this is not to say that another sequence of keystrokes, done in some sequence during the Witch Space (Jump Sequence) which has yet to be found, may work.
IIRC, miss-jump was shortly in the early version (beta ?) of ED, but was soon removed?
In a book it was joystick down (or up) and engines shut down during the countdown.
I've been also looking for nuggets in PAX East 2017 - Interview with David Braben and If these are CMDR Braben's ship locations, why Asellus Primus? Except the 8th 'moon' is a sun that's the right colour for TDW station image and it's a casual 5M LS away from entry point! Will check it out after I finish my journey to Voyager.
Edit: Ugh, exited super-cruise at Voyager and ended appearing at SOL (Sun). Grr.. fine checking out AP now!
Some weird interaction at Asellus Primus B (which is a loooong trip to get too).
Probably bugs, or if I'm thinking positively it's potentially a station that I can 'see' because I'm not invited!. However, I couldn't find a moon/asteroid/planet like the one from the DW post which I suspect is a pretty definitive clue IMO.
It doesn't discount the system importance though, since DB doesn't just 'randomly' put things into his video streams. After watching a lot of them I get the impression he likes to drop these little teasers to intrigue and aid people subtly.
And my scanners are awesome - Engineering you just can't by today! I picked up a Wake signal 5M ls away.
Edit: Seems to have been an instance blip - re-logged to check Open again, Private Group and Solo and all appears 'normal'. I still see some ships but the contact visible and lost doesn't seem to be occurring.
So that'll teach me to be positive! [Slap] Ok, back to my pessimistic searching with some mild optimism.
New Contact / Contact Lost usually refers to USS that have timers before degrading. If youre lucky you farm a HGE one that respawns as you pick it up. Easiest way is to use FSS to find the new signals if nowhere near a nav beacon. Nav Beacon resolves all signals and current USS even if they aren't on your NavPanel yet.

Yeah I used to farm HGE that way when I was heavily engineering.
For the Asellus Primus system, I checked the FSS and actually scanned all the new signals for the entire system (~40) and again when I arrived at 'B', just to make sure there wasn't something hiding nearby that I couldn't see. I checked all new signals as they appeared just in case... which were all 0.19ly away, and alas no hiding DW station.
I'm actually still out there. Wondering why there is a MK3 Cobra just circling. If they were from TDW I'd call it, but alas they're just from the local faction.

Lyta Crane is at least an interesting name. It's anagrams contains several funny words, like Cat, Art and Lyre.
I dabbled a bit with the Lyre / Lyra / Lyra variety, because of Vega and stellar princesses and all that.
My best find is the Anagram: T Lyrae can.
T Lyare (HIP 90883 in ED) is a Binary system with a carbon main star. That would take care of T Lyrae a C (HIP 90883 a is a C class star) and just leave the N. I haven't scanned it, so I dont know if the star is actually a C-N class.
The N could also be a counter. As the 14 letter in the alphabet, it could point to the 14th planet: HIP 90883 A 2f. This is the 8th moon of the A 2 gas giant.
raxxla ....if we are to believe the elite dangerous universe timeline, almost certainly is within 300 ly of sol as there are less than 300 years since space travel to other systems began and the first mention of raxxla and the fastest ships could travel at this time appears to be 1ly per year.
22nd Century - Hyperspace Travel (of some sort) Invented.
2800 - Faraway Jump (used navigational systems to make Hyperspace safer - took hundreds of years to establish)
3100 - Quirium Drive (Single-ship safe Hyperdrive jumping using 'Quirium' as 'fuel')
3200 - Class 2B (Totally different type of Hyperdrive, possible wormhole travel)
3300 - FSD (Almost exactly the same as the Quirium Drive, but longer range and not Quirium Fuelled)
In addition there is some conjecture that the timelines for FTL travel have been altered. Haven't got a reference for this but I know Drew Wagar was exercised about it.
Jason Ryder could have traveled 10kly on his search for Raxxla - he had months or years to do it and the ships of that time were not constrained to jump only to stars - they could be just plotted through space 7ly at time. See the Dark wheel novella where Alex and Elyssia hyperspace to Rafe Zetter's ship 0.1ly out away from Tionisla, for instance..

Yeah, there are a few good hits in that hypothesis. The old Greek myth of the Lyre also fits well with the DW toast.
Orpheus, it's owner was one of the Argonauts(vagabonds) and quelled the voices of the sirens with his music. He also went to the underworld (deepest void) to retrieve his dead lover.
He was also was a founder and prophet of the Orphic mysteries.
